Im not sure how other people had such good experiences at this brewery. Was welcomed with an unfriendly staff upon arrival,... tables were covered with leftover beers/food, and cleanliness was not a priority. For being a brewery, their beers were a ratingof a 2 out of 10. I'd say if you are looking for good beer or someone who likes breweries, you can go ahead and skip this oneand head down the street to Here & Now. Such a shame too, I was here a few years ago and enjoyed myself but it seems that it isnot that same anymore. More of a local dive with other companies beers on tap. Read more

We stopped at this brewery yesterday after giving them a call about bringing our dogs along. Simple answer, you sure can as... long as they are on a lead and behaved, so we did and had a great meal and beers. We got appetizers and shared them between 2couples, glad we did because the portions were large. I got the bowl of chili, great flavor, my wife got the Irish Nachos, thecousins ordered the onion rings and mozzarella sticks. All had great taste. The Summer Camp Honey Ale, the Elderberry Ale andHonesdale Pale Ale were a few of the ones we enjoyed. Highly recommended brewery. Read more

Owner was super nice. Allowed us to park while we walked around town. When we returned for food and beer server was the rudest... server I?ve ever encountered. When we began ordering he became very frustrated that a number of us wanted to order flights?at abrewery. ???? he told us we would need to be a lot faster because 5 flights would take him like 20 minutes to poor. Ciders werereally delicious and beer was also pretty good. Read more

Super nice folks. Great Harvest Host site. Very nice town. Food was good. They have an assortment of beer including 4 of there... own and roughly 8 others. Their beer was consistently excessively sweet. The Summer Camp Honey ale was my favorite with obviousnatural honey flavors, and I thought floral notes included camomile (but none in recipe), but again, it's sweet. That said, Icertainly enjoyed it. They also had a nice selection of Victory ales including Prima Pils and Summer Love blonde ale withAmerican hop character. These two were my favorites. The owner had time to visited with us outside and made us feel very much athome. I also enjoyed the quick hike up Irving Cliffs in the morning which is almost exactly 2 miles round trip from the brewery. Read more

We stumbled across Irving Cliff on a small road trip and boyyyyy - did we hit the jackpot!!! First off, I am not a beer... drinker, so I started off with the beer flight of 4 choices and man-oh-man have they converted me - the cider beer is to diefor! It tastes just like apple cider! You wouldn't even think it's alcohol! My partner went for the Lion's Head [which seemsto be quite popular with the regulars] The building is right in the railroad town, and was a printing press before its brewingtime - lots of history in those walls. Irving Cliff Brewery itself has been around since the 1850's - so cool!!! Now on to thefood, looking around the other patrons choices - everything looked so good, but I had to go for the 18-hour Brisket meal withwaffle fries and I added on chili. This Brisket was so good, along with the cider beer, we decided to take a 2nd 2 hours roadtrip just for it the following weekend. This time the Brisket was even better! I'm telling you, it's got to be the best beerand best brisket I have ever experienced! It will melt into your dreams!!!!! It's that good. Doug and Dave [and I'm sorry, butI didn't catch the girl's name] were our bartenders, along with Doug's adorable lil man - a happy-go-lucky pup, that comes by tomake sure everything is how you like :) The atmosphere is laid back. Great live music and happy people everywhere! If you'relooking for a place with great food, great beer and great service - Irving Cliff is def worth the drive! And don't worry, ifyou find a beer you love - they have Growler's for you to remember your day and tons of merch! Read more

I visited here regularly for a week in October. It was often the only place open for food and literally nothing I had here was... bad. The beer was crazy good, the food specials were delicious, and I met a million random crazy people. The guy cooking wasalso doing dishes and taking out the trash. Bro deserves a giant raise. Bought a pint glass (pictured) to remember the meals, the beers, the characters, and the writing I did. 10/10 would hang out every day again Read more

Really cool place. Huge collection of growlers and beer cans. We visited on a Wednesday afternoon with Peggy and Chip. Bartender... was the only one working. No clean flight glasses, but we waited until they were washed. We had crab cake sandwiches, wings, andPhilly cheese steak, fried pickles, 2 flights and 4 pints. They are pet friendly, have a bunch of games and outdoor seating. Would return if in the area again. Read more
