Great Indian food in Waikiki. Definitely recommended. We had kadhai paneer and Malai kofta. With garlic naan and roti (they were... tandoori, which is great). Just the location (discovery bay mall) is not good, but otherwise all good with the restaurant. Wouldcome here again. Read more

The appetizers were great! We had samosa chaat and veg pakoras. However, the food was not. The ?biryani? wasn?t biryani. More... like butter chicken rice. But it was still good whatever it was. The lamb however was so hard we couldn?t chew it. They didn?teven have the curtsey to remove it from the check. When we told them it?s not chewable they said they can?t do anything. Theyknow we are visitors so they don?t care what we think of the place. I?m so sad we came to eat our own food and this was theservice????. Read more

The 3.3 rating on this restaurant is tragic and unbelievable. Not sure if anyone on Oahu has had Indian food before, but this... place is FANTASTIC. I?ve traveled allover and have grown up around Indian families and Indian restaurant owners. This place isnot only authentic, but it?s quality, has a diverse menu, and everything tastes great. Highly recommended. Read more

Updated Review: Came here for the second time and ordered the exact same items as our last visit 6 months ago. The quality,... cleanliness and service all went down. We really enjoyed the samosas last time, but the samosas were obviously reheated thistime around and the center of the samosas were completely cold. The sauces were also not as good as last time. VegetableBiryani was much worse this time as well as it was a soggy mess, and it definitely didn't have "fresh vegetables " as the menusuggested. The carrots and peas tasted like it was from a frozen pack. The Lamb Rogan had less lamb and was also more oily thanlast time we ordered it. The chicken tikka masala tasted fine, but the texture was as if it was reheated as well. The onlything we enjoyed was the garlic naan bread. Hence two stars instead of one. Service got even worse, unbelievably they had evenfewer and possibly newer staff as the server didn't even know if the entrees come with rice when we asked. Also no one took ourorder this time around and we had to write down our own orders, and go grab the check ourselves. And the same rule for notordering any more food applies still. In addition, our glassware was dirty and we had to ask for it to be replaced. Thisconcludes my very last visit to Bombay - will not be back again. Previous Review Dec 2021: Somewhere between 3.5 or 4 stars. Wewere nervous to try this place because of the overwhelming number of 1 star reviews on Yelp and Google, but decided to goanyways since the bad reviews were mostly about slow service - so we mentally prepared our selves for slow service. When youcome you have to order before you sit down. So I suggest you look over the menu before you arrive. One annoying thing is thatyou cannot order more food once you sit down. We got Samosas, Vegetable Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh andGarlic Naan to share. The food didn't take too long to come out because there was only one other table waiting for thei Read more

We were shocked with how small the portion was. That tiny bowl costs $18.45! And ONE PIECE of garlic naan(flat bread) for... $4.95!!! Tiniest serving we ever had in Honolulu not to mention the 45mins waiting time! What a disappointment! The placeambiance isnt great too! We wanted to order more since it was so small but were scared to wait for another 45mins. When leavingmy bf said thank you and the guy at the door and he just replied with ?yup!? Read more

Had chciken tikka masala, paneer karahi, and mango lassi. Everything was good. Tasty. All meat is halal. U need to pay extra... for even rice, but i guess in all hawaii it was like that Read more

Amazing location and the service was good. When I was there they were short staffed so they had a policy to order anything... upfront and that's it, if you want any curry's or any other dish once you are seated they can't take the order. They were okaywith taking order of desert and rice. However they did take my one order of Na'an bread. Na'an bread was amazing and deliciousas it was fresh and was made right there. Their lamb Rogan Josh was super delicious however biryani was no where close tobiryani it was more of a fried rice. Overall one of the best places to eat. They serve Halal meat and chicken. Service is quick and friendly and the establishment is clean and welcoming, but the food is absolutely stellar. I've rarely had... such delicious Indian food in my life. Read more
