if i could go lower, i would. the meats were cut pretty okay but the customer service was terrible. me and my family reserved a... table of ten and from the moment we walked in, they were rude and dismissive. almost immediately after entering they were veryunwelcoming and only served us if we asked more than once. our waters weren't filled despite asking several times. we didn't getmany of the items we asked for (chopsticks, bowls, etc). there was no ventilation at all other than the open front and back door(which wasn't opened until halfway through our meal) meaning it got burning hot and smoky inside. the servers even told us togive the meat back if we weren't going to eat it (supposedly to serve it again?) it was the worst korean barbecue experiencei've ever had. This was our first time here and I must say...We really enjoyed ourselves! Even though we came during the Sunday dinner hour and... waited a bit to be seated, we enjoyed our first time here. First, since it was busy hours all the auntys working were workinghard on all the tables. The uncles cutting meat in front seated us once he saw us waiting patiently. Even the guys cleaningtables made sure we were helped. And of course the aunty to waited our table, had great energy [specially on a busy night]. Sotheir customer service was good to us. The food...my husband order the "Kalbi KimChee stew" and I had "KimChee stone pot mixedrice" ???????? along with all their sides!!! The food was so ono, we will be making this spot a more often place for us. We livewithin walking distance of the resurant and look forward to Goin back. The food really hit the spot after a long week atwork. ThankYou Han Yang Restaurant!!! Read more

Actual rating would be 3.5 stars As a usual customer at places like gen and sikdorak, we decided to try out this little place... that I knew was around for awhile but never got the time to try it. The place was nicer than expected, and they have 2 sections:one for dine in off the regular menu and the other side for yakiniku. Right to the meats, the tongue and brisket are favoritesof mine at any place and we're probably the best cuts I've had in awhile. The brisket didn't seem to fatty, but it was stillmoist and soft unlike some of the cuts at other places where it'll dry out after a few seconds on the grill. We also tried their"Kobe" and "tenderloin" meats but they were honestly pretty bad. Pork belly was pork belly, not much to say about that. Oh, andtheir "special" sauce was a little bland compared to the usual brown sauce you get at other kbbq. The service was OK, but Ihave to mention something here. They do ADD GRATUITY to your bill automatically no matter how big your party. It does state thison the menu, but I just thought it was a little sneaky since they still have a tip option when you check out. If you're just intown for some brisket and tongue, you won't be disappointed. Just be aware of the auto gratuity and the somewhat slow service. Read more

Pretty good place. My wife is Korean and wanted to eat something Korean. I ordered meats because I like meats. She was satisfied... with our choices and she left feeling like we can come back with family or friends. The waitress was nice to us. We will surelycome back. Read more

Always a great place to get good, authentic Korean food at reasonable prices. Service is good and the environment comfortable.... It can get a little Smoky in there if multiple people are cooking their own yakiniku (you can either cook yourself or order offthe menu and have standard table service). You may want to sit in the "table service" side instead of the yakiniku side of therestaurant if the smoke bothers you. I, myself, love the smell of good food cooking even if it gets a little Smoky. Meals comewith the usual side dishes of Kimchi, Bean Sprouts, Cucumber, potato and a rotation of other prepared vegetables. Standardmeals also come with a seaweed/fish soup (not included if you order a soup for your meal). Portions are generous and have lotsof flavor. A little hard to find but a great "hole-in-the-wall" restaurant. Definitely worth finding this place. Read more
