My wife and I eat oriental food on a weekly basis. We have had Cantonese food in China where it should naturally be the... yardstick to measure this great cuisine against. Happy Days has the best Cantonese food outside of China we have ever had!Every part of our meal was superb. Prices are very reasonable also and served fast by a very friendly staff. Read more

I've gone here for dinner twice within the last 30 days, and the food is always tasty and moderately priced. When we go at 8... p.m. it isn't crowded. Update for Nov. 2022: Dim sum is still delicious. 11:30 am the restaurant is starting to fill up forlunch. The "regular menu" and "dim sum menu" are now online. Just scan the QR codes on your phone. Still no parking validationbut the rates are reasonable, better than you'd find in Chinatown. Use a credit card to pay at the booth, take the receipt toscan at the gate to leave. Read more

Came here and did family style with everyone. Lots of food, and it was good trying things that I normally wouldn't order. It... was all pretty good overall food wise. The restaurant itself isn't the cleanest though. Read more

The service was excellent and staff friendly. Some food cooked near table whilst others are staged on a cart. Sui mai and... steamed & baked char sui pork bao were hot. Sui mai was very dry. Our party does not like dry sui mai. Bathrooms marked andsupplied with soap and paper towels. Parking lot is very full around 10:30AM on Saturdays. Expect waiting time or arriveearlier. Restaurant is very busy late mornings. Read more

Been to Happy Days many times over the years, for snacks, meals, family gatherings. We've seldom been disappointed. On this trip... to Honolulu, we picked up full meals to take to my wife's mother in a senior facility, and dim sum to take to friend's. Mymother-in-law is always pleased with the food. She tends toward food that is easy to chew. We've had numerous birthday partiesfor her during her 80's and early 90's, with up to 3 tables of guests in a separate room, that's around 30 people. The lobsteris good, as is the whole fresh fish, but it's best to order such things the day ahead. Our friends on the other side of theisland really enjoyed the dim sum, and asked where we got it, as they are building their own list of favorites. We will probablyalways end up at Happy Days sometime during our visits to Honolulu. Read more

Pretty okay place to go for some Chinese food, and dim sum. In the evenings they are out of anything fried though, so get there... before like noon if you want over half of the menu for dim sum. Service was adequate, but definitely not great. Read more

Smaller sized local Cantonese dim sum restaurant. Dim sum consists of small dishes (3-4 pieces) generally steamed or deep fried... and served from a roving cart. Reasonably priced, full menu of noodle and other dishes with fast service. Decor minimal. Popularrestaurant. Gets crowded at noon on a weekday. Best to arrive by 1130 am for lunch. Paid parking (inexpensive) available inmunicipal lot on the back side of a row of restaurants on Waialae Ave that is entered from 12th Avenue. Read more
