My husband and I ate here yesterday for lunch. I had the tostada and pozole, and my husband got chicken fajitas. The salsa is... good, my tostada was good even though it had about two times as many beans for the amount of shredded beef they gave me, and myhusband liked his fajitas. The chicken was very moist, but I thought the veggies were a bit overcooked. They were very verysoft, almost like they were about to fall apart. The prices are a bit high for what you're getting, but not terrible. Theyshould spend some time cleaning the restaurant, however. The tablecloth at the booth we were in was very grimy and had old foodsplatters on it. There were some terra cotta tile decorations near the ceiling above us, and there were clumps on clumps of dusthanging off of them. It just made me wonder what else they hadn't been cleaning very well... Overall, I would say our experiencewas okay. The food was good, prices were okay, the service was very good, but the table we were sat at was dirty. Read more

I didn?t like this dish at all. The fried potatoes were old, the red sauce was sweet. The rice and beans were bland. I hope... quality improves. Read more

Small hole in the wall type restaurant with really good food. The tacos were very good. Enchiladas were good. They let you... replace the rice and beans with a salad or bowl of posole (which is excellent!) They also have a good dessert menu. Churros andice cream are very good. The service was some of the best on the island. The most authentic Mexican restaurants on Oahu. Read more

We were looking for a place to eat for quite some time, after a few busts we headed here. The food was phenomenal, best Mexican... food I've ever had and that says a lot considering it's my favorite type. I ordered the shredded beef chimichanga and beanburrito, both of which had a lot of flavor, chimi was perfectly crisp. The chips and salsa weren't run of the mill either, it'sgot an appropriate level of heat while still being extremely flavorful. The staff were very friendly and charismatic. A tripback to Honolulu might be worth it to stop by this little gem. Read more

I've been craving super authentic Mexican food for some time. Pretty picky as I've gotten really good food in Texas. Been here a... few times. The chips and salsa and pretty good I just admit. The artichoke and jalapeno dip I wasn't a fan of if I'm beinghonest. I wasn't what I was expecting. It was literally artichoke and jalapenos and some cheese on top. I thought it would havea smothering amount of white cheese and had bits and pieces of artichokes and jalapenos in it. But it was edible but I wouldn'torder it again. The chicken tostada's are my personal favorite. My mom ordered the ground beef quesadillas and enjoyed them. Thebeef chimichanga was okay. Granted I did eat it when I got home instead of at the restaurant so it wasn't crispy anymore. I justwasn't a fan of the flavors. Would come back here for the tostada's and the chips & salsa for sure! Plus the service is alwaysdecent. Read more
