It's super fancy. Dress nice. The food was DELICIOUS ???? the staff went BEYOND service for guests. The restaurant looks... Amazing. It's have a great view of the beach ????? and city. Not to noisy, enough to hear a conversation with the person youhaving dinner with. Super Polite Staff. I would rate this as 10 stars ???? but unfortunately google allows you rate 1 out of 5.It's a 5 for me. If I ever come back to Honolulu I would definitely go to this restaurant again. By far one of the best places on Oahu. A must in my book. Fantastic sunset views along with a spectacular night time City view.... Food is over the top! Classic table side service, outstanding wine list. Your taste buds will be dancing. We always come herewhen we visit. Read more
I can see why it got Michelin stars. The food is flawless, wine pairing perfect, and the atmosphere so romantic! Best restaurant... I have visited in Hawaii so far. 20% tips are quite a lot though, from vistor's point of view. Read more
Breathtaking views of the sunset, super friendly staff, and overall great atmosphere but...my girlfriend ordered a French onion... soup and the server never put the order in the kitchen. In the meantime I ordered a steak, selected what kind and thetemperature... and server wrote it down but never put the order in the kitchen either lol. I found myself disappointed with this visit. I remembered Michel's to be 10x better before the pandemic, but now it felt it was... overpriced for taste of the meals. Each dish was kind of bland (except for the escargot) and I just could of gotten somethingbetter at a different French restaurant. You're basically just paying for the view but once the sun goes down, it was reallycold & windy. I wouldn't go back again, until they improve. Read more
Wow is all we can say. Dinner at Michel's was the highlight of our entire trip to the Hawaiian islands! First, sitting down to... a printed menu with our names on it was such a nice touch! This was a birthday celebration and they included that on the menutoo! The view right on the water was absolutely amazing! We went on a Friday evening an enjoyed a local sail boating race. Andto sit there and watch the Hawaiian sunset was to die for! The entire staff was just so awesome! From the minute we arrived tothe minute we left we were treated like royalty. The tasting menu was so on point, from the flamed Lobster Bisque and freshlyprepared Caesar salad served table side to the awesome chocolate cake for dessert. Beach front! Romantic and fine dinning with awesome view and sunset. Food taste very delicious. Staff and Waiters are very nice,... friendly and professional. Covid protocols are stricly followed. The restaurant is very clean. I suggest to do vallet parking,it is free, but do not forget to tip your vallet attendant. Read more
Definitely a highlight of our trip to Hawaii. This restaurant’s service surprised me more than any restaurant in my lifetime -... they didn’t have a single vegetarian item on the menu but the server was so knowledgable to request the Chef & have them makea full course veg menu just for us!
