11/1/2022: Popped in for lunch on a Tuesday. No line, quick seating for 2. It is on the pricey side, however, their selection... is very good. Very fresh. Lots of locals go here. BYOB so it's easy to sit and enjoy food and company. Really friendly crew,prompt service. Read more
I had to only rate this place four stars. The sushi on the menu was excellent. It was high-quality, and the sashimi was some of... the best I’ve had in a very long time. So, why rate it four stars instead of five? Simply because of the lack of variety.There are no special rules here – not even a “rainbow roll,” which is one of my favorites due to the variety of fish ittypically comes with. We came here for an anniversary and the sushi was so fresh and delicious. We ordered 2 sets and some ala carte items. Some items... we would definitely get again is the lobster van van, Toro sushi and the oysters. The place is a little small but the decor wasnice and modern. The staff were friendly and the only thing that would have been a wrinkle was they forgot not to add the masago(fish eggs) on our bowl due to an allergy. my dear friend introduced me to Mitch's Fish Market and it's such a little hidden gem it's quite easy to find , once you know... what you're looking for. Closer to the airport than anything, it's located off of Sand Island Access Road We ordered theOmakase (chef's choice/speciality) and enjoyed the delicious, wonderfully - thoughtfully prepared meal The restaurant is niceand cool (A/C) and the seating is very socially distanced at more than 6ft apart from each other. Don’t understand why they charge what they charge for the food. Yes the fish was fresh but there is zero effort put into... decoration, experience and service comparing to some other options.
