Their bartender randomly decides who to kick out from the club. We paid $41 to get in and got to this bartender. The music was... VERY loud and he didn't hear our order at all even tho we tried more than couple times. He charged us for a random drink and gotmad. After that we decided to text it on our phone, he was already pointing to the security guy to get us out. After arguingwith the manager for about 30 mins he reimbursed us $60, but our night was definitely ruined. $25 to get to the club and thesame amount back. So $50 just to be ashamed because of their bartender mistakes. You're doing bad, Scarlet. Read more
They charge for water and $20 dollar cover when it?s empty. They also replay the same songs and only play 20 seconds of a song... before changing. Scarlet in Chicago is way better. Read more
Pros: Nice large space with a great sound system and awesome drag shows. Cons: While we understand Scarlet can?t prevent people... from coming here including straight folks who I?m sure bring in tons of money (who blames them, it?s a business ), it becomes arather complicated recipe for intimidation and unseen aggressive behaviors towards it?s target population and that?s us in theLGBTQ+ community. It?s not that they (straight people ) are there (at least for us ) but the fact that my husband got shoved bythis white straight girl in an aggressive form is what?s worrisome. It?s the fact that homophobic guys come here and treat thosein our community in aggressive ways that staff can?t control or see. It happened A LOT. It?s a creation of the staff and theyneed to figure out how to target the situation . Until then, Scarlet has a serious issue. Read more
My first time back since Covid and sad to say it was primarily a straight bar. We got shoulder several times by aggressive... straight guys and didn't feel safe. It was sad that a queer space has been taken over though not sure what can be done. Onlysharing for others to be aware of what you're walking into. Read more
Too crowded and sweaty for me. I lived the drag show so I would put five stars alone for that, but a lot of straight people. I... like my bars and nightclubs to be strictly lgbtqia+ because it gets weird when you see a drunk straight girl slapping a gayguys butt. I feel like stepping in and I just don?t like how commercialized the place seems. But the drag queens are gorgeous.Too young of a crowd for me and there?s some straight guy predator vibes there too. Scary place. Friends had to throw away 3 of my drinks since 3 seperate guys (!!!) tried spiking them. Then tried to go to the... bathroom and a few other guys tried fiddling with the lock to barge in on me. That said, the vibe isn't bad, it's overall fine.It's not a gay bar though- it's a club. Ladies, don't let the lure of a "gay bar" lull you into complacency like it did to me.There are a lot of ill-intentioned men that go here to capitalize on your comfort. It's fun. Just keep your head on a swivel,watch your drinks, don't cross fade unless you have great friends or your S/O there to watch you, and whatever you do, stay theheck away from the gender neutral bathroom toward the front. Only go to the women's bathroom in the back. (Maybe that's selfexplanatory, but when you're wasted and you see a bathroom sign, all you're thinking is, "Bathroom?") Read more

Probably the WORST nightclub you can find in Honolulu. We found 2 cockroach in our glass (not even a joke) and I don't speak... about the bathroom... It's a nightmare. They just say they were sorry about that ???? OMG. Then the "drag show" is about 1-2 minmaximum. ( I think it's more about 50 sec). I'll say just run from this place as soon as you see my comment. ???????????? PS:the volume inside the club is just insane, we were at least 10-15 person wearing earplugs. Read more
