The food is bad without any taste at all. Always saying leave the original food for it is original people and don?t try on us... for fun and money. The falafel ???? is full of oil and cold. Shawarma is not a shawarma so in this case I will call it????plastic wrap. Hummus not fresh and it is canned one. The place not clean and dirty from inside and the outside. The owner ohboy sooooo arrogant, when I told him about the food as an advice for improving the kitchen then replied that ?I don?t carebecause restaurants is not my main business and my main business selling the bread ? ok then close ????. Of course don?t gothere. Mahalo Read more

I was looking forward to eating here, as I?m an Israeli and just moved to Hawaii. I grew up in Raanana / Ramat Gan, so I know... authentic Israeli food. I was a bit disappointed as my Pita was very undercooked and had a doughy texture with lots of flourleft on top. The falafel balls were heavier than I?m use to, and lacked flavor / seasonings. The salads didn?t taste like backhome, but that could be changed with some lemon or lime juice, salt and pepper. The eggplant was delicious. My craving forauthentic Israeli food wasn?t satisfied, but I won?t write this place off just yet. I?ll try it again before making thatdecision. Oddly, I was expecting Israelis to greet me and prepare my food, but that didn?t happen. But that?s no one?s fault, Ijust hoped for some familiarity when I found this place. I was excited at the idea of not being the only Israeli in Hawaii. Read more

Got the falafel and enjoyed it! Tasty stuff, and a real Mediterranean taste! Best if all, the young man who took our order... couldn't have been kinder! It makes me want them to succeed! Read more

I don't know, I've given this place a lot of chances over the years and mostly ate here to support my local community even after... my friends stopped after their similar experiences. Most of the food is flavorless. I just received probably the worst lookingpita sandwich. I get that perhaps business really wanted to stuff all this food into the Pita but the Pita in front of me is notonly falling apart but it looked like it was wrapped by someone who has never wrapped anything in their life and to top itoff.... this pita was UNDER a container filled with Hummus?! You do not put heavy things over softer items!! I cant even eat itas a sandwich. Not the end of the world, I can get a dish out and a use a fork but YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. I'm just disappointedand luckily for me Waialae Ave has a lot more options nearby Read more

Family owned and run by the sweetest Israeli family. You can really tell the owner Sagi is passionate about what he does and it... shows in his food. I always get their falafel mix plate (vegetarian option) and it is absolutely divine! The falafel is crispyand soooo flavorful. Eggplant cooked to perfection. Side salads also refreshing. Highly recommend it. Last but not least?..their home made pita is BOMB! They don?t use any preservatives - so always fresh and fluffy. I always order extra to have in myhouse. Love it. Go now!
