Five stars is not enough for this amazing place! Dereck Kami was so talented and made it all the more fun. The food was nothing... more than perfect. If you have a chance to eat here you must ask for Katsu! Make sure you come hungry because the portion sizeswere hefty. Read more
This was the same type of hibachi that we have back home. We made a reservation but still was made to wait. The cook did do more... neat things with the utensils then what I?m used to (which was good) but it?s mostly the same. The pina coladas were very tasty! Read more

Jonah was amazing and professional. Food flavor was tasteful. John did a decent job at serving. Please come around more... frequently and talk louder. I'd rate Jonah an 4 out of 5. John a 2.5 out of 5. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE when prices were way to highfor the EXTRA SMALL kid size food portions. Salad was awful because I didn't get an option to choose dressing. Soup was AWFULbecause i dislike tofu and weird soup tastes. Tea WAS AWFUL due to me disliking hot tea. Ice cream was good but took 10 mins toget it served. I do not plan to return to this location or recommend anyone to this buisness until somes issues areaddressed. This was the WORST Hibachi Grill that I've ever attended. I've been to about 15 in numerous cities in United Statesand you rank at the BOTTOM. $40 for Steak and Chicken and it could be served as a 14 year old, kids portion meal. I took 6 bitesand my steak was gone. Vegetables were very small with only sprouts, mushrooms, peppers and onions. Where was the squash? Whydoesnt the vegetables fill half my plate like every other big city grill does! Why was white rice served separately then friedrice? Evey other grill cooks white rice in front of us then adds fried rice after. Please list or explain the 9 course meal whentaking order. Why was meat cooked 15 mins after the vegetables? Typically the meat is served right after the rice and vegetablestouch my plate. I finished my entire meal before he served my chicken. Your cooks talk to much and cook too slow. This place was fantastic! From Taylor our server, to Ryan our Teppanyaki chef to Jaimie the manager this place was amazing. I... had a great mai tai and the teriyaki chicken dinner. My husband had saki and the seafood combination dinner with shrimp,lobster, calamari and salmon. Our dinners also came with miso soup, rice, green tea, vegetables and ice cream. We were so fullwhen we left! Good sized portions and they even gave us a military discount in honor of my husband?s service in the Air Force.One of the best meals we had on our Waikiki trip. We highly recommend Tenaka of Tokyo east. Go there! Read more
