I had steak tacos today....beans & rice...all very tasty! Plus it came with home made salsa and chips and a beverage of my... choice! I had a coke. I will definitely return to try more options! It's not big Texas/ American .portion sizes but you get fullwith the added chips and salsa. Overall a solid A! The Atmosphere was nice as well and the young lady that took and bagged myorder delivered excellent customer service. Read more

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH! located in the middle of the commercial district of Kalihi this small Mexican restaurant makes food fresh... when you order. I came back a second day in a row because they have different specials depending on what's fresh and to switchup the menu. I'm looking forward to getting the ceviche in the future! The atmosphere inside is modern yet rustic. Both timesI visited the servers were amazingly nice. All of the tacos were great and I usually don't like carne asada but theirs wascooked to perfection. The chicken taco was the best IMO because the sauce it's cooked in, and the birria and consomme isstellar. Read more
These tacos are legit. The Birria & consome are as good as the best of them and the pork belly street taco reminds me of what I... can find back in Texas. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for tacos on island. Read more

Small restaurant but big taste. I ordered birria special while my husband got the works with chicken burrito. I love birria.... Burrito is good too. But we will ask more onion and cilantro or add salsa next time. It would be way better. Read more
Great authentic tacos. Simple ingredients, but excellent flavor. Three tacos on their own is a bit small so I recommend getting... either "the works" or their Mexican style corn (which is also excellent). Their horchata is delicious and authentic, withgrittiness from the starch and cinnamon (make sure you mix it well). The only bad thing about this place is the absence ofadequate parking nearby.
