The Tater Tots was our best meal, that's definitely recommended. One friend had the wings, he said they were decent. However, my... other friend and I had the double combos, and the brisket and turkey were way too dry and hard, like it was left overnight andreheated. There was no moisture on them, very disappointed. The sausage was not bad, and the potato salad side was pretty good.The mac and cheese tasted like rubber. So glad I tried this place!! My co-worker was raving about this place so of course I had to give it a go.... and everything was... delicious just like she said!! And just like her, I found their Mac-n-cheese addicting!!! I am so full right now but I stillwant more of their Mac-n-cheese.... lol.... I recommend their brisket and pulled pork. I had the Valentine's dinner for two.I loved it. The prime rib was served at the perfect temperature, medium rare. The sides:... lobster mac n cheese, was velvety creamy and cheesy,deep fried corn on the cob had amazingly unique flavors of grilled BBQ. Butsave room for dessert.The banana pudding was made with real bananas, so good. The key lime pie was rich with fresh lime flavors,too.The ambiance here is like a sports bar feel, not romantic.I also ordered their homemade lemonade vodka cocktail with Titos!Yum! Service was fast and courteous on my takeout order. I ordered two single meat plates. The first plate had beef brisket, cole... slaw and tater tots. The brisket was very moist and flavorful. The cole slaw was very good. The tater tots were a little toosalty for my taste. The second plate had pulled pork, rice and baked beans. The pulled pork was a little dry, so I used morebarbecue sauce with it. The baked beans were great. I wish I asked for extra barbecue sauce as I used both small containersfor just the pulled pork. Amazing food, GREAT beer, GREAT service. Our waiters name is Bobby, fabulous personality, made the whole experience even better.... The brisket melts in your mouth, and the prime rib is our of this world. Beans are so tasty. Read more
The pulled pork was awesome, ribs not so much. Great service but I would pass on the dessert way overpriced and not very good.
I'm no bbq expert, but I do love good food. I ordered the $24 plate that comes with 3 meat selections. I'm told it's supposed to... 1lb of meat (16oz). I'm not quite sure if that's what I got -- it did seem a little light, but I had no way of verifying that.The important thing is the food: I ordered mine with brisket, smoked sausage, BBQ ribs, and the 2 sides I chose were BBQ beansand cole slaw. The sides were tasty. Not the best baked BBQ beans, but they worked. The slaw was fairly average. In terms ofthe sides, they weren't bad. As for the meat, I had some wildly different results. The brisket was slightly dry, and I didn'tsee the smoke ring. The flavor was decent, and overall, it wasn't bad. Again, a bit dry, but the BBQ sauce made up for it. Thesmoked sausage was fairly decent -- I ate it all, just like the brisket. But it's the BBQ ribs that failed. They were overcooked by a long shot (you can see it in the picture). To add insult to injury, I also got chintzy burnt ends. Like 3 bones thesize of my index finger, on top of the dried out meat. It was pretty sad. I probably would not order the BBQ ribs again. I'mgoing to give them another try, but for $24 for the plate I ordered, I was pretty disappointed and wouldn't order that expensivea plate again. My next visit will probably be a sandwich. I hope they can raise the bar. BBQ ribs shouldn't be hard, certainlyless involved than brisket, so it seems odd that the BBQ ribs were a miss and the brisket was quite a notch better. Best BBQ I’ve had a in a long time. Been looking for a spot with good BBQ and found one with great BBQ. The brisket was juicy... and flavor full. The pulled pork was smokey and tender. The sausage was also good. Read more
