The space was beautiful and that's the only reason to come here. I went here with a few friends just recently and the atmosphere... was stupendous. But the staff seemed overworked and annoyed with their patrons. We didn't get any information about the drinkswe ordered and just felt strained all around. The wine flight was mediocre and the chardonnay and rose were both served at roomtemperature. I caught some conversation of a nearby table talking about the poor quality of their white wine and witnessed themdump it in the garbage. For having so many wineries in the area I would expect the competition alone would drive up quality. Buton a positive note, with so many in the area, just head somewhere else. We went to a second nearby and had a lovely time. Read more

Charming little winery and distillery with tasty wood-fired pizza. The selection of wine was larger than I would have expected... for such an operation, including many Italian, French and Spanish varietals along with more typical American vintages. The pizzawas fresh and crispy. They offered 3 tiers of wine flights with 5 wines per flight. They also offered a full bar with cocktails,at least some of which were made with locally distilled spirits. Read more

The owners and staff are just amazing through and through! Nostalgia sets in quickly and the wine....ooooh the wine... superb.... Thank you for allowing us to shoot some great drone footage on your property and for having live music to soothe the soul. Istill crave the mushroom pizza and blood orange cocktail to this day. You were undoubtedly my favorite spot on my Hood RiverAdventure! We will be back. Read more

We got the meatball sub (so yummy and the best in town!). We also got the sausage and arugula pizza and it was perfect to split... everything between three people. I recommend the Barbera to wash it all down! Live music all weekend with a view of themountain. Folks here are the best, you won?t be disappointed! Read more

The scenery was beautiful with views of Mt. Hood and a quaint patio that allowed friendly pups. The two wine flights we had were... tasty although one of the reds had an extreme amount of sediment. The tasting prices were fair but we didn?t get any detailsabout the wines beyond the paper menu. The mojito was tart, tasty, and impressively served on a gold platter. We were excitedto try the wood fired pizza and ordered a Margherita ($25), as well as a meatball sandwich ($15) and a bowl of the tomato soup($12?!?). All three items were served in cardboard boxes/cups and we were left wondering if we should use the cocktail plate todish up?? The pizza had arugula instead of basil so it was a unique take on a normally traditional pie. Sandwich had good flavorbut we were looking for the other half after finishing it in 4 or 5 bites. The soup was the breadwinner even though we didn?tget any bread to dip in it for the hefty price tag. Overall, glad we stopped by and gave Hood Crest a try. Read more

This place was more formal than what we were looking for this time around. There was no personalized service,we didn't get to... hear anything about the wines, winery or spirits. Spirit tastes were $5 which was a little steep. Cocktails were $12. They weregood, but small for the price. They do have a lot of outdoor seating, are dog friendly and have some food including pizza. Niceplace if you are looking for something higher end, but if you want something fun and casual and are more interested in thedistillery side I would pass on this one. Oh and we'd recommend staying away from the Pinot Ale; it tastes like neither a pinotnor an ale and was very sour. Read more

My friend and I discovered this place by accident and are so glad we did. The distillery is full of character and James made us... one of the best cocktails I?ve ever had! I?m not a whiskey drinker but his smokey maple Old Fashioned turned me around! Read more
