These are legit the best tacos I have ever tasted. I tried the Hawaiian taco -- the flavors are complex and so just yummy. The... seasoning on the outside of the taco is brilliant! One of the owners who served us was lovely as well. Will def drive out hereagain from Portland just to have more! Read more

Among the many taco options in HR this spot is a solid mix of mexi-fusion hipster delish at the higher end price point. A must... try if you're interested in unique flavor combos outside of traditional taco menus, and definitely get the queso! Read more

In love with Love & Hominy. My husband and I ventured to Love & Hominy for the first time and loved everything. We enjoyed some... of their signature tacos. Starting from left to right (picture 2), we savored every bite of the Hawaiian, Vietnamese, and Koreaninspired tacos. We also lapped up their Thai Noodle Salad and a very tasty, salted rim, Margarita. We love that each taco istastefully thought-out, veggie packed, and has unique international inspiration coupled with taco fusion. Love and Hominy -with its fast-slow casual approach - is a must visit when venturing around downtown Hood River. I can?t wait to visit again! Read more

Updated review: Hip vibe, friendly staff, fun menu, not every combo worked for us, but we had a good time. We spent $30 + tip... for 4 small tacos, chips, and 2 salsas which seemed a bit pricey especially when you add gratuity (they asked for a tip beforeany service was provided then gave us a look as if we'd lowballed them so my husband tipped more in cash). They have a selfserve water station, napkins and cutlery in a bin on each table, and the restroom was relatively clean. The art on the walls wasretro. I would prefer more meat over rice in my taco, but it did help balance out the tacos that were too salty for us (mainlythe tex mex one). It was thoughtful to provide options of meat and taco styles. The Hawaiian taco with pulled pork didn't workfor me, but the seared ahi tuna did. The canned pinneapple on top also didn't do the taco justice. The Tex Mex taco with chickenor pulled pork were fine combo wise, but they were both too salty and the beans, corn, and soy bacon didn't really add anythingfor us. We loved the salsa and queso. Presentation was clean. Read more

This is a Unique Boutique Taco experience, combining a plethora of flavors inside a taco shell. Essentially it's almost like a... poke Bowl in a taco. I tried the Hawaiian Vietnamese and Korean. The Hawaiian is their signature taco and clearly the winner ofthe three and definitely worth getting especially with tuna. The Vietnamese was also great with shrimp. The Korean failed todeliver. Skip the typical restaurant views and take the tacos to go across the street to the nearby parks there are picnictables for sunset, mountain and water views Read more
