The atmosphere is very cool and you get to feel like you?re almost in the vineyard as you enjoy your wine. I do with there had... been more whites on the tasting flight but the wine was pretty good for the price point. Italian vineyard without leaving the country in Oregon. Beautiful property! They have a private tasting rooms facing and... aligned to look at the line of vines. It was super hot day but each room came with the water mist to keep you cool which wethought was wonderful idea to have guests to relax and to enjoy the sips even in the uncomfortable temp outside. (We got wetafter sitting in front of it too long. Lol) They grow Italian grapes unlike many others in the region. We enjoyed antipastiwhich hit the spot in our stomach. What an amazing atmosphere! You feel like you were transported to Italy. With fantastic wine (all with their own personal... description/ story from the owner), wonderful service and an amazing view! My husband and I were visiting the area and had a badexperience with one of the wineries down the road due to them being not so pet friendly as they claimed so we looked forsomething else and came across this one and called explaining we had a little dog with us and the owner explained they are notjust pet friendly but people friendly, kid friendly, they loved everyone! Once we arrived the owner even came and greeted uspersonally, giving our little dog a treat. We were thrilled! Oh and we got a little private booth overlooking the vineyard andwow what a view! I have the say the most beautiful vineyard I've personally ever been to and the wine was delicious! Ipersonally recommend the Barbera 2020 for any red wine lovers. Our server was also extremely knowledgeable and friendly too!Overall if you're in the area, this is a MUST STOP!! Read more
My husband and I discovered Marchesi many years ago on a wine tasting trip to Hood River. It was one of our favorite places in... town and still is! The patio area has grown and it's super cute - you feel like you're in Italy. They have great wines includingthe Achille Barbera, my favorite. You can get a delicious cheese and salami plate to go with your wine. Tastings include a mixof red and white, and they're all great. Highly recommended for a nice afternoon out. Read more
Wow! We had an amazing time at Marchessi. The staff was so welcoming to me and my family. We brought our three kids along and... our server was so kind and accommodating. The wine was also great and so were the antipasto platters. I highly recommend thisspot. Read more
Amazing wine and the outside set up is beautiful! Reminds me of the Italian wines I love when in Italy. Wonderful selection!... They fight the heat with a mist and personal fan in your own little section inside the vineyard. Very peaceful and beautiful.Staff was incredibly friendly and enjoyed the wine so much I left with 3 bottles ! A must stop ! Read more
