In a very charming town, this place is wonderful. Parking is limited to street parking out front, but as you enter, you'll see a... glass window with the steaks flame grilling right in front of you. The front area has booths. The back has a bar and a patio. Asyou'd expect with a premium steak house, the prices aren't low. However you can control some of the costs by choosing a 1, 2, or3 side pricing option. You also get tremendous portions to go with the price. Service was excellent. Food quality excellent. Home cooked meals. European and American food. Porterhouse steak was cooked to... perfection and was very tender. We were visiting Hood River and asked several people where we should eat....the Mesquitery was suggested by several so we tried... it. It did not disappoint. One of our party has a severe allergy to onions (YES...an allergy and not an intolerance) and ourserver was so helpful and patient. We couldn't have had better service (Monica is a GEM). The food was delicious and wellseasoned. We look forward to a return visit as it is excellent all around. Read more
Great service the waitress was very attentive to the table, they even cook the steak right in sight of the booths! Not only was... the steak prepared as requested but the loaded potato was delicious as well. We also participated in desserts which also did notdisappoint. Definitely a place to try if you have never been. We will definitely stop again soon. Read more
Make a reservation if possible. This is a very busy restaurant. We were 2 adults & 1 child. We shared the 20oz steak with 3... sides & garlic bread. It was very tasty and just the right amount of food. We then shared a milk shake and the apple crumbledessert. Both were delicious. Husband ordered 2 oyster shooters & enjoyed them. Read more

High end cost for low end feel but worth it for the taste. Let me start by saying the atmosphere is low to medium end from my... experience. We were sat directly across from the hostess table. There were numerous flys that were harassing us during ourdinner. My son even squished one on his children's menu which nearly made my wife want to leave. Yet I'm glad we stayed. Foodwas delicious and well cooked. Newyork Steak special 10/10. - perfectly cooked. Cheese was bold flavor but paired well withsteak. Loaded baked potato 10/10. - crumbles of bacon, melted cheese, and a side of sour cream and butter on a perfectly cookedbaked potato. Cheese quesadillas for my 4yr old son were amazing. 10/10. - shredded chicken paired well with melted pepper jackcheese on a crisp tortilla. Prawns 9/10 - great flavor from grill not overly seasoned. They were a smidge overcooked. Lavacake 8/10 - well presentation, but not made in house. Smaller portion but perfect for a small after meal dessert. Plating wasbeautiful on all dishes. Their WiFi password is no boast: just the truth. Best in Hood River is no understatement. Best overall food, specials,... atmosphere, service, and an awesome attached bar (featuring Eastern European beers).
