pFriem Family Brewers is excellent! We had the Hazy IPA & the Marzen. Both were outstanding. Got there just before the rush. ... Service was great and so was the food. I had the cheeseburger and the Boss had the Jagerschnitzel - delicious! The outdoorpatio is semi dog friendly. Elvis had to sit outside the seating area. He gave us a bit of the stink eye but hopefully he willforgive us. Read more
I wish we had visited pFriem first in our brewery visits. It was AMAZING. The beer was crisp, fresh and the food was phenomenal.... I would go back if we had time. The wait staff knew their stuff and the atmosphere was open, classy and fun. Highly recommended. Read more
Stopped here for lunch while passing through with our two dogs. They're dog-friendly on their patio which is nice! We put in our... name and waited about 35 minutes. We spent the time walking along the river and watching wind surfers. I ordered their houseveggie burger and it was super good. It had great texture which was noticeable since most veggie patties fall apart easily; notthis one. I thought it could've used more salt/seasoning but that's my only complaint. The bread they use for sandwiches is froma local bakery, and my brioche bun was delicious. I also tried a flight of beer and really enjoyed everything. They have a shopright next to the restaurant for to-go beer which is convenient. Overall, a nice lunch on a sunny afternoon. Read more
Buzzing bar/restaurant by the Hood River waterfront. It seems to be popular with both locals and tourists. We ordered mostly... appetizers which were amazing, But we also enjoyed the schnitzel. Perfect after a day out on the water. The beers of course aregood and so is the wine ???? selection (limited choice but good). Read more
I love this place, been here many times, had a private event celebration here once too. Consistent good food, and the food is... not your average selection. The GF schnitzel and the mussels are 2 of my present favorites. Beer is filtered so well I doubt itwill give you a headache. Service is good, be ware of the wait list. You want to eat here give yourself time to wait, the placegets busy because is great. Read more
Not the typical NW brewery and restaurant. They have a variety of top shelf beers and the food menu is fresh, diverse and... original. I had the mushroom sandwich with a salad and it exceeded all expectations. The beers I had were the Ukrainian ReliefIPA (which was good but not as good as some of their flagship IPAs) and the Belgium Dark which was fantastic. Absolutely LOVE going to the pFriem Family Brewery!!! Always an amazing time with wonderful beer & delicious food. Plus, it?s... right in the river front park which is great for enjoying be & after. If there is a wait for a table, Hood River us an opencarry city so grab a beer from the ?bears den? and enjoy the amazing views while you wait. Dogs aren?t allowed on the patioduring summer when food service is outside. Read more
The beer was very good! At a certain point the whole experience felt a little style over substance, though. Especially the blue... cheese salad. The dressing was flat and the salad was not fresh. I sent it back, something I?ve never had to do before.Everything else, including the Mac and cheese was very enjoyable, though! Read more
