Avoid this place at all costs. My girlfriend and I went on a blisteringly hot Sunday afternoon thinking a smoothie seemed like a... good idea. There is no AC in the restaurant which made waiting for our food rather miserable. Of course, waiting over 20 minutesfor one smoothie made it all that much worse. The staff was very unfriendly to us. This place claims to have awesomesmoothies/juices, yet they only have a pair of blenders for the entire restaurant. There was an odd odor looming over therestaurant that seemed to be exacerbated by the heat and lack of AC. The kicker of course was that the smoothie we got left alot to be desired tastewise and we didn't even end up finishing it. Read more

The juice was great, but my breakfast burrito was inedible. I was aware that the burrito was supposed to have beans on it, but... when I opened the foil the amount of beans caused the tortilla to be soggy. Also, when I did try to eat pieces of it, the egg was just covered in beans and the juice from the beans. I couldn?t taste anything else. Read more

I visit Hood River every summer and am so glad Remedy Cafe is here. It serves health conscious food in a casual laid back... atmosphere. The staff is always friendly and fast. The smoothies are awesome and the Buddha bowl is my fave! But I try somethingdifferent every time. They also do a juice cleanse which I just learned about. Go get your remedy today! Read more

Pretty good. Everything was fresh, organic and their staff were apologetic for not having bananas for my smoothie. We had the... Buddha Burrito and it was ok. Read more

Hi, I don?t usually leave reviews, but this place certainly deserves a review of my experience? they offer healthy,... minimally-processed food that my body prefers. And, what a blessing to find good, homemade-like food while traveling! We?vestopped twice in the last 6 weeks, and living in Michigan, that?s pretty good, I?d say. The Coco Cocao smoothie is quitescrumptious, without being overly sweet. My body was happy after enjoying the refreshing and filling chocolate bliss-in-a-cup. And, the first time we stopped there I had the Golden Milk: a warm, satisfying coconut drink, with herbs and spices to nourishthe body and soul? Food-wise, beans, rice, tamales = good taste and nutrition! Stop in, I think you?ll be happy youdid.???????? (P.S. I?m impressed that they make their own vegan milks! Super Yum!) Read more

We ordered the Clean Green Detox juice and the Liquid Sunshine juice and they're both SO tasty! It made us want to buy a juicer... to replicate back at home. We'll definitely come back here next time we're in town. We also ordered a Tamale Plate and an AcaiBowl. Absolutely delicious. I ordered an extra side of the tahini sauce because it's that good. Highly recommend! And safe forgluten free folks! Read more

I was served coffee by the owner, and during what is usually a transactional and simple process he asked questions about our... visit, preferences, and details people usually don't bother with to make sure my order was perfect. Because they're a holistichealth store, he also gave some interesting health facts and alternatives without being preachy or "sales-y". I look forward tosupporting this locally-owned business and its mission to offer delicious, affordable, and healthy fare. Read more
