We love this restaurant! It was smaller but we didn't have to wait long for two people. We had some awesome appetizers and... delicious rolls. This place is incredible. Starting with the service, we were being helped by not one but TWO waitresses during our dinner date.... This was at peak time too. We were always attended to and the food was fantastic. Not a huge amount of rice on the sushi,generous portions of fish. Highly recommend. Read more
Great little Sushi resteraunt in Hood River proper. The menu has many great items, the portions are good size and the fish... tasted fresh. They lost a star due to the very long wait for our order, much longer than a typical sushi wait. The place isfairly small, with very limited seating. If you don't want to wait a long time for a seat, you really need to avoid peak hours.Place is a little dark because it is pretty much located underground. Pretty young crowd in attendance. Read more

Friendly and accommodating service here. No wait to be seated. Knowledgeable staff, adjusted plating to our liking. Many... vegetarian options which was nice when vegetarian often feel excluded from enjoying sushi. I would highly recommend the seaweedor cucumber salad starters. Read more

Sushi Okalani is arguably my favorite restaurant in town to go but I am obsessed with sashimi (drools a little). They have great... platters for sharing, amazing daily specials and a good variety of other dishes for folks who don't love fish. They have a greatcouple sake samplers which is great because I don't typically know what I want so being able to try a few is great. I reallylove belling right up to the sushi bar to watch the action front row or tucking back into one of the private rooms. The serviceis always friendly and the food is AMAZING!
