Reviews for Giovanni's Roast Beef & Pizza in Hooksett, NH

I ordered the steak tip salad, the steak tips were cut inot tiny pieces to make it look like there were more on it ( there... wasn't) it equaled out to maybe 1 1/2 steak tips. They steak was cold, not even warmed up at all. I ordered extra greenpeppers, extra cucumbers, extra olives . They gave me 3 cucumbers all together ( how many do they normally give? ), and only 4olives ( how many do they normally give) They portion is definitely alot smaller than it used to be and alot more expensive. Ihadn't ordered Giovanni's in a while, but I now work in Hooksett, NH and realized they had one. I will not be ordering fromthem anymore. Very disappointed. Read more

My friend and I ordered a couple of cold subs. They were made quickly to order, as they were not very busy during a Sunday... afternoon. There was a partial power outage to the building, and some equipment was not working, but the crew was genuinelyapologetic to customers coming in to pick up hot orders. I went there for the first time since moving from Nashua NH to Hooksett NH, I thought the food would be great as the one in... Nashua NH however I was totally wrong, the fish sandwich dinner was overcooked, the bun was hard and inedible, the fries wereovercooked, I also ordered two large pizzas, one pepperoni and one sausage, my grandsons love pizza but took each two bites andstopped eating, you could have wrung g the pizzas out, they both had puddles of grease on their plates and they were overcooked. Got order of sweet potato fries they were totally black I go in and show them. I said would never let something like that go... out. He takes one and breaks in half to show inside is orange and says that's the way they are supposed to be. No I don't thinkso... They did give us our money back and made another order that were much light brown not black. Used to be great but seams they're owned or managed by someone else now, always skimpy on sauces and serving sizes now and I got... seasoned fries that they put so much seasoning on they weren't even edible. Felt like I was doing the cinnamon challenge justtrying to eat one Read more

Their roast beef sandwiches were pretty skimpy, with their roast beef, especially when their name includes roast beef!! The... pizza was very soggy with oil. I had to drain my slice before trying to eat it without dripping oil. We also bought two Greeksalads, terrible that they don't QC to remove the brown lettuce. Chef salad was pretty good. They don't sell slices anymore so, that was a bummer. I got a couple a spinach rolls. These are egg... rolls stuffed with spinach and supposed to have feta. I didn't see or taste and feta (which has a very strong taste). Thefilling was almost paste like. I'm really not sure what it was but, I won't waste my money on that again.
