Ate here today for the first time. My husband had the liver and said that was good. I had the steak and that was less than good.... Very thin “ribeye” and was way over cooked for medium as requested. I only ate it after adding A1 sauce and less than halfof it. The fried green tomatoes were good. The baked potato was good. The squash, not so good. Added bonus: they serve beer.Will we be back? I brought my husband and daughter here for Father's Day and her birthday and everything was just as the reviews said! We didn't... want to wait to be seated, so we sat at the bar. I loved that I was able to feed all three of us for under $100 and that theentrees comes with 2 sides and your choice of bread! Everything was good, hot, and fulfilling! I have a new spot now! I love this place. It’s close to where I live, always fresh, great service… only one concern THE FLOORS ARE WAY TOO... SLIPPERY!! Sorry y’all but it really does concern me. I’ve seen 3 people slip and fall. And it’s just a bit too crampedin there. I go there to eat and to visit with friends. While in Birmingham running a few errands, I was looking for a non-chain place to eat. Dale’s looked interesting online so we... decided to give a try. It was a busy Sunday lunch and there was a wait. The hostess invited us to sit at the bar with nowaiting. Jason was taking care of customers at the bar while answering the phone and preparing to-go orders. I’m not sure howlong he has worked there but he was killing it! There were several items on the menu I wanted to try but opted for the chickenfried steak and was not disappointed. We look forward to returning when in the Birmingham area. Read more
