Ate here today for the first time. My husband had the liver and said that was good. I had the steak and that was less than good.... Very thin “ribeye” and was way over cooked for medium as requested. I only ate it after adding A1 sauce and less than halfof it. The fried green tomatoes were good. The baked potato was good. The squash, not so good. Added bonus: they serve beer.Will we be back? No. But if you like Liver and onions, then it’s your place. Just don’t get the squash and don’t forgetthe beer! ???? The server was very nice. Read more

I brought my husband and daughter here for Father's Day and her birthday and everything was just as the reviews said! We didn't... want to wait to be seated, so we sat at the bar. I loved that I was able to feed all three of us for under $100 and that theentrees comes with 2 sides and your choice of bread! Everything was good, hot, and fulfilling! I have a new spot now! I love this place. It’s close to where I live, always fresh, great service… only one concern THE FLOORS ARE WAY TOO... SLIPPERY!! Sorry y’all but it really does concern me. I’ve seen 3 people slip and fall. And it’s just a bit too crampedin there. I go there to eat and to visit with friends. This place is a great find! I had an incredible experience! Food was great! 16 oz prime rib, 14 oz ribeye, 9 oz ribeye, shrimp... and grits, and grilled cheese for the kiddos! Sides were okra, mushrooms and onions, real cornbread dressing! Squash casserole,bananas and strawberries, mac and cheese, and goldfish and grapes... I will definitely be back! Read more
The food was delicious. We have been here several times and I usually get the shrimp and grits but decided to change up a little... bit. The turkey and dressing was so good. The carrot soufflé was awesome. The place was nice and clean, we had a great serverand the other customers were nice also. If you're looking for a nice place to eat try Dale's I highly recommend it. While in Birmingham running a few errands, I was looking for a non-chain place to eat. Dale’s looked interesting online so we... decided to give a try. It was a busy Sunday lunch and there was a wait. The hostess invited us to sit at the bar with nowaiting. Jason was taking care of customers at the bar while answering the phone and preparing to-go orders. I’m not sure howlong he has worked there but he was killing it! There were several items on the menu I wanted to try but opted for the chickenfried steak and was not disappointed. We look forward to returning when in the Birmingham area. Read more
