A good spot for vegans in a pinch. Very happy to see plantbased meat and vegan cheese as options! Got the beyond melt and subbed... vegan cheese. Made sure not to use the Mathilda sauce (ketchup & mayo combo). The employee who took our order was very kind andknowledgeable about the menu! The food was good, but maybe a bit generic. Be warned that this is a busy location especially onthe weekend. Wait times weren?t terrible, but be prepared for an energetic and loud environment. Read more
Always a great place to stop by for lunch. This place has a great vibe and tons of tasty food options! The Mac and Egg Rolls are... so good, definitely try them if you havent! Lots of cheese on the menu, so make sure you're in the mood for that before you go. Read more
We were really excited to try this place based off the pictures we saw on Google. Food was really good. My favorite was the... Buffalo Chicken sandwich. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was good, but was missing something to make it amazing. Love the fries. Read more
Delicious!!!! I?m not a huge fan of traditional patty melts, but this place is way more than that! Fast-casual set-up. Big... selection of hot melty sandwiches and appetizers. Delicious. We had the chicken, bacon, ranch sandwich and the chicken pesto as a lettuce wrap. Both had wonderful flavor. The... chicken was nice and smoky. Mac-n-cheese was good, but a tad bit dry. This is my second time ordering from MELT and both times it was a good experience. I only did curbside, so can't speak on dining... inside. Their customer service was good both times and the waiters seem genuinely happy to help and accommodate customers. Iordered the Ole Smokey sandwich both times. And both times I enjoyed it. Read more
The melt experience was one of the worst places I have tasted in Birmingham. The sandwich I received was ham and pineapple,... and the bottom of the bun was soggy. The best thing was honestly the fries and the were seasonless but I was so hungry they willdo. The mac and cheese egg roll was also disgusting, the outside was crispy and the perfect texture but the mac tasted like boxman and cheese and had no flavor. You order, pay, get a number, swing by the beverage station, seat yourself, and moments later the food arrives at your table.... Fast and friendly service, an open, high-ceiling dining hall, plus comfort food make for an enjoyable lunch on any day. I wasreally happy when I realized that the jalapenos were not pickeled. Yes, the heat level of fresh jalapenos have a much highervariability but the sandwich tastes much fresher, healthier with fresh jalapenos.
