Probably the best Chinese food in Hoover! I always get the braised pork! The spare ribs are wonderful as well. The appetizers... are hot and fresh, we usually get egg rolls and soup too. They don't stick you with stale crispy noodles for the soup either.Haven't had anything bad from there yet, Kung Pow chicken is a recurring order. The staff is quick and very professional. Would be a 5 star rating if they still offered inside dining. Quality of food is excellent, especially the Chicken with... Blackbean sauce. Happy New Year! A festive first time here for us as we usher in the Year of the Rat. It was super busy but our server did a... fantastic job. We shared a wonton soup for 2 but it could have served 3. I had Kung Pao beef and wifey had General Tso chicken.I expected my beef to be spicy but it was very tame so I added a few packets of Chinese mustard to perk up my palate. Good: as usual, food is delicious with Taiwanese style cooking and favor. We ordered "sauteed sweet pea leaves", "salted... crispy chicken", and cold plate "salted duck". All three are good. Opportunities for improvements: 1. We tried order anothersalted duck to go, bit was told "ran out/out of stock " because they tried to keep fresh.... interesting comment??? 2. We thentried "two delicacies cold platter" with spicy beef tendon and spicy sliced pork ears... was told beef tendon was out of stockalso....????? Read more
