Picked up dinner from Happy Wok and we wont be doing that again. We have been getting food there for the last five years, not... always the best food here, it's the closest. Our dinner usually costs abt $27. Tonight we got the same thing as usual and BAMthe bill was $40. Talk abt PRICE GOUGING. And now they charge for a container of mustard. Happy Wok is by far the best Chinese food restaurant in the area. I highly recommend the chicken and eggplant with brown sauce,... and any of the shrimp dishes. The food is always cooked to perfection, and it is fresh and has delicious flavor! It is neverover salted. The beef on a stick is very tender and is the best I've ever tasted. They also go the extra mile and offer dim sum.If you live on the other side of the lake, it's definitely worth the trip here! Read more
If I can give it 0 stars I would. Just moved into town and didn?t want to cook tonight so I decided to order from here. I am... very familiar with Chinese take outs and most dishes are usually prepared the same from one restaurant to another. I got thesze Chuan and there is nothing spicy about it! The sauce tasted like vinegar and it was extremely sweet. I think they made itwith sweet and sour sauce instead and threw in like 3 dried chili peppers to make it ?spicy?. I just happened to stop here with a friend and we got a boneless ribs combo and some chicken wings.... EVERYTHING was terrible... besides the egg roll and my peach snapple. Today we ordered dinner and again they shorted us one dinner. When we came back to show the woman that one of our paid dinners... was missing she accused us of lying.
