Service was very good. Food was also good. Only bad thing was the ground beef in the taco, enchiladas & burrito were all the... same. It had some diced onions and green peppers in it. I'm not big on green peppers. Nice deco thru out the restaurant. Read more
Atmosphere is pretty good. The staff is doing a great job making sure every customer is satisfied with their order. Now with the... food, it was definitely worth the wait. And it's so so good and filling. I recommend coming here with an empty stomach, causeyou will definitely leave feeling full and satisfied. Read more
We just got to Hope Arkansas from a long drive. Decided to eat Mexican for dinner and came to El Agaves Mexican Restaurant. So... glad we did. Inside is very clean and spacious. Very kid friendly. The food was delicious , lots of flavor and hot. Wish we weremore hungry to try more of their food. We had their poblano peppers platter and it was delicious. The tortilla soup was reallygood too. Staff is nice and friendly. They came to talk to us in the table and they even gave my kids mango cake dessert on thehouse. If I'm back in Hope, I would definitely come back. Read more
The most authentic Mexican we have tried yet, in Arkansas! My husband tried the Burrito Leon, and I had the Enchiladas... Mexicanas. Both dishes were very, very good. The Chips and Salsa were addictive, as was the super chunky, tasty Guac. The Flanwas creamy and delicious, exactly on point. Our server was Salvador, and this young man was a master of his craft. Extremelyformal, respectful, polite, and far beyond 'above and beyond'. In fact, there was a table of locals that we chatted with on ourway out, that were also very sweet and kind as well. Was very excited to try a new restaurant while on vacation. The waitress asked for our drinks and if we wanted some queso. The... queso arrived and we still hadn't recieved any chips. By the time our chips arrived, the queso was cold. My husband asked forspicy salsa but it wasn't that hot. He ordered the large steak burrito and I ordered steak fajitas. Again he wanted and askedfor the hottest sauce on the burrito. The food looked delicious but had absolutely no flavor or seasoning. It is definitelyoverpriced for the quality of the food. We will not be going back if we come back through Hope. Read more
Got the veggie burrito. Asked for NO DAIRY. No cheese. No sour cream. She specifically asked "So you don't want the queso on... top??" I say NO. What do I get? Queso on top. I couldn't eat it. Ordered from Doordash since we were stuck at the Hampton Inn. Order was delivered correctly and arrived super fast. Ribeye and... potato were both prepared exactly how we asked in the special instructions. The fajitas I ordered were delicious and a largeportion. Would order here again if in the area. Read more
