We have always loved Waffle House, but these guys take the cake! The waitress was new, and was so sweet and attentive. The... manager, Derrick, checked in on all tables, made the kids laugh, gave hat's and was on top of his game. The orders were perfectand tasted delicious. You'll love it too. Don't forget to tip!!! Half the dining was closed, the only waitress working was to busy talking to her family sitting at the high top, the table was... nasty, we had to clean it ourselves, silverware not clean, had to get it ourselves, no refills, food over cooked, cook was tooconcerned with cleaning the grill so she could get off. We always stop in Hope and eat here coming and going from Texas. This was the worst experience we have ever had. It took at... least 20 minutes to get waited on, people who even came in after us got waiting on first. Our meals were all messed up then whenI took the bill to the counter to get the gravy and cheese taken off that we didn't get the bill went from $23 to $25!! The food is always good. This particular one only has half of its dining capacity available. But you can sit in 1 of 3 booths or... a few stools at the counter. The food is always good and the service is excellent. We chatted a while with the staff and had awelcoming experience. Read more
All star breakfast meal. The bacon was almost raw,eggs were not over medium the white was clear runny, the grits tasted like... soured buttermilk and the waffle wasn't hot enough to melt the butter. Addicted to the waffles, especially the pecan ones. They make grits like they're supposed to be made. If you ask for crunchy... bacon that's what you'll get. Coffee is pretty good. Service is always fast and friendly. I'm trying to eat "healthy" so Ionly treat myself to Waffle House once a week...otherwise I'd be there every day! Read more
