Our daughter’s wedding at the inn was magical. The grounds are beautiful. Jerry and Maria were instrumental in making their... day perfect. The dinner was incredible, wait staff and bartenders professional and friendly. I give 4/5 because booking rooms atthe Inn was extremely difficult. Lovely keeper but not a suitable fit for the details of the job. Increasing staff may be a goodidea to ensure the overall cleanliness of the Inn. It was disappointing not to have a larger fire area and runningwater/fountains in the river. Read more

My husband and I hosted our Wedding at the Inn this past September - Our Day was absolutely Beautiful thanks to our vendors,... family and friends who celebrated with us. However, I do have many complaints. I understand that they were still updating, however, weddings should have been pushed off until ALL Reno was completed. The Inn itself is not as updated as its been madeout to seem. We paid a large chunk of money to have our wedding here and we had more than too many acceptable issues. Bookingrooms was an absolute nightmare. You get minimal to no responses back from staff - as they only have 1 person who actuallycontrols bookings. Rooms were dirty, most of our guests experienced issues with the showers/running water. The grounds - thebarn is beautiful. The house is beautiful. They've remodeled those wonderfully. HOWEVER. My father and my husbands father had togo out THE MORNING of our wedding to buy a few flower arrangements to replace the DEAD flowers the Inn thought was acceptable tohave placed around. Not more than 2 weeks AFTER our wedding, the Inn is now supplying beautiful flowers pots all over the yard. There was ZERO sign for the entrance so we had many people passing the parking lot .... they now have a beautiful sign for theentrance. Did OUR money pay for all of this?! The bridal suite. Its a beautiful room. Two weeks - a month after my wedding, they updated the space yet again to have a designated hair/makeup station ... we had a clunky old desk and had to requestmultiple chairs to accommodate the needs for the morning of getting ready. As beautiful as our day was, and as happy as we werewith each other and celebrating with our guests, the frustration of the "small things" certainly weighed on us. They need staff.... our wedding coordinator should not be hosing down sidewalks the morning of, running food trays, scooping rice duringcocktail hour. I think we are most disappointed now because we are seeing how many NEW changes have been made Read more

Do not book via air bnb. There is a non refundable policy and terrible communication from staff. I love the inn but have had a... very bad experience recently. Read more

If I could give no stars trust me I would. I had booked this inn months in advance for a wedding that was located nearby. I was... contacted via text to be told that they were canceling my reservation because they were hosting a wedding that weekend.Management is extremely unprofessional and not helpful. They will now only communicate via text, stating they will assist infinding another hotel to book a reservation but all options are 30-60 minutes away from my wedding venue. I CAUTION YOU TO NEVERBOOK THIS INN! They will clearly take any business thrown their way and will cancel confirmed reservations up until the lastmoment. I cannot wait to see this establishment close their doors. Read more

Definitely not worth the price they are charging. Online room picture for room 15 was not the room that is actually there. I... complained and was given options of other rooms to choose from, settled on one but still was not a pleasant stay. The mattresswas a nightmare and the linens thin and cheap. Don’t think they could have found cheaper quality toilet paper or Kleenexeither. The tavern featured on their website is closed, supposedly for renovation tho that is not noted online, but when I snuckdown to take a look there was no sign of construction going on. No breakfast being served either, but they give you a DunkinDonuts gift card for breakfast instead, tho I have yet to figure out it’s value. I suspect not much. My room had no heatcoming in, so I was provided with a small space heater after complaining. I could go on, but you get the idea. Until this placesteps up its offering, the room rate is totally inconsistent with the value you receive. Read more

Loved this place! Loved that the building is so old and historical. Our room was beautiful. Our bed did sink in the middle, but... it was still quite comfortable. Our TV didn't really work. We had to ask an employee to come set it up for us, and sometimeafter he left, it stopped working again and needed a code. Did not bother me much though. They have Wi-Fi, so you can connectyour other gadgets to. Plus, we didn't really hang out in our room. I would love to come back a different season to see whatthis place looks like underneath all the snow we had. Read more

This place is sensational! The people are so nice and helpful, the rooms are cute and clean, the restaurant with the fireplace... is gorgeous and the food was delicious! The architecture is lovely, definitely a place to go if you want to get out of the cityand in a small town and nature area. Winery's within driving distance and hiking trails nearby. I will definitely be going back!Stayed in February and it was gorgeous! Everything has a rustic and vintage vibe <3 Cannot say enough good things about thisplace, I Loved it! Read more
