Most days, BBQ is spot on. Been coming here for decades. The website is not correct bout times most of the time. Phone is either... busy or no one answers I drive from Richmond. Not nice to get there and closed or getting ready to. Lady at register is rude.Always. Some of the staff as well. Read more
I love this place. The BBQ ribs are outstanding. I ordered a 1/4 rack and trust me, it was larger than most 1/2 racks I have had... from other places. It came with 2 sides and a drink for under $11.00!!! Their fried chicken is another awesome find. You get aHALF a CHICKEN!! You will find others who review and whine, gripe and complain that they do not take credit or debit cards.It's cash only and I don't mind a bit. I got Mary Lou?s dinner. It was not what I expected. Small portion of grilled chicken that was nothing special with beans and... cole slaw. The beans were the best part of my meal. Our waitress zoomed by like she barely had time to stop and actually listento what we were asking for. We go to pay at the register and find out it?s CASH or CHECK only. I said this would have been niceto know before we were seated. The lady at the register didn?t care and said there is a sign on the door that was propped openand on her register. You expect people to come into your establishment who haven?t been there and look at every sign in yourbusiness? Maybe actually make the effort to tell people since it?s 2021 and most people don?t carry an abundance of cash or havechecks on them. Stopped in for lunch and got the pork BBQ sandwich with fries and beans and a drink. The BBQ sandwich didn't have a lot of meat... but aas enough for lunch and it tasted great with some of there sauce on it. The price was also great for a lunch stop. Thewaitress was fast and friendly. Highly recommend stopping by this place for lunch or dinner. Read more
Love the food here. The staff are very friendly and work well together! We eat here once a week , they are that good! They are a... CASH ONLY restaurant. No checks or Card! But they do have an ATM if you need cash. If you have never been here, then stop whatyou're doing and GO eat here. You will not be sorry! Read more
