For starters, I have never not finished a meal, even if its not the greatest at a restaurant. Ordered the mozzarella sticks and... the cheese was not melted but my wife and I ate them due to being so hungry. I ordered the pork chops and she the bourbonchicken. The pork chops were incredibly dry and over cooked and the bourbon chicken looked like it was sitting out for a whiledue to the cheese looking old on top. The mash potatoes were very tasteless and it looked like it came from a box. My wife askedfor water and received tap water!! Which was not even filtered. We were willing to pay for the bourbon chicken since she atepart of it and the mozzarella sticks but the pork chops were barely touched. The manager was defensive when this was bought toher attention stating the bourbon chicken was a best meal, that doesn't mean we were served a good meal though. I always want togive a restaurant a second chance, tonight might have been an off night but after the attitude from the manager, no thank you.They did comp our meal and I paid for the sticks and drinks. Such friendly staff our server was amazing the food was great. They had a wonderful selection to chose from. The prices were... reasonable. Everyone was so sweet and kind even down to the bus boy. Will definitely be going back. Read more
We had lunch here today and it was Fantastic!! I had the mushroom provolone burger my lady had a Cobb salad with chicken.The... service was fast and Lori our server was excellent! Can't wait to come back and we definitely recommend this place. Read more
Very cozy, family friendly restaurant. The burger was great and included fries and onion rings. My 14yr son got a huge plate of... pasta that looked amazing. We took a decent amount of it home due to how large the portions were. Would definitely go back! Read more
Lovely, homely tavern where locals revel familiarly with one another. Very friendly barmaid. Gorgeous fish tank at the entrance... with vibrantly blue fish. Free, fast passworded wi-fi. Ample parking outside, and nearby runs the Dutchess County Rail Trail,which also offers more nearby (free) parking. In May 2019, the Dutchess County Libertarian Party convened here. Read more
Weather was horrible and I was driving from New Jersey up to Massachusetts. Stopped here on a whim and it was great. Great food,... great service and a nice atmosphere. Kind of a local, old school vibe. I had the french onion soup and a cheeseburger with friesand onion rings. Couldn't finish the fries or the onion rings as i was too full, but everything was great. Kevin is everything you want from a waiter! Friendly, attentive, and very gracious. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip... which was delicious. The Godfather pasta which was enormous and really tasty, and the wrap special that my wife also reallyenjoyed. Underrated Diner, 10 outta 10, would add more points if I could for Kevin.
