It's something rare today. It's a deli that makes their own provisions. I've been there a few times and the hot dogs are... excellent. I've also had their pastrami a few time. It was nice a Smokey with a peppery bite. One time it was a little salty,which tells me that being homemade, it isn't exactly the same every time. We moved away from Hopewell Jct to CT a short while ago and we are still taking day trips back here to enjoy the delicious foods... that are offered ( and stocking up on our favorites). We miss the German foods and salads, we haven't been able to find theirmatch in CT yet so far. EF provisions offer a variety of foods, hot meals and breakfast and ice cream! There is a lovelypavilion to sit under when the weather is good and enjoy the fresh air. The entire staff is pleasant and helpful and patientwhile I try to make up my mind!! I hadn't been here in about 12 years, and my son was visiting with his wife and baby, so we were in the area and stopped in for... lunch and ice cream. Don't know how I haven't been here in so long, but I will be sure to return soon because I had the mostamazing bratwurst! My son and daughter-in-law had sandwiches, and they raved about everything. After lunch, we had ice cream,and that was wonderful too! Great visit and I will be back! On a side note, this place has a long history and I remember goingto the original location on the day my son started pre-school (23 years ago!), so it was really neat to go there with him andhis 4-month-old son! Good food, burgers are very good bratwurst is the best I ever had also best sauerkraut ever. Only place I can find Kosciusko... lager beer mustard. Wow is that good. Very good BEC. My only problem is with the staff. I have never in my life seen such blase?disaffected uninterested robots.No personality at all. The store on Rt 52 has an older woman who you better hope is in a goodmood ! I think they need to be reminded customer service is as important as your products. Read more

Love this place! We?ve stopped in twice on road trips down south for a quick lunch. The people are super friendly and the food... was so fresh and good. They had a great kids meal options with a hoodsie cup at the end. Had a turkey blt sub that was amazingand tasted so fresh. We even got some venison sausages that were so tasty. I love a tasty cone at the Smokehaus under the Pavillion. Inside you can get a slamming BEC w SPK as the perfect morning pick me... up or the best Franks around. They did a full pig for our Christmas party years back and it was amazing!!! Thank you! Read more
