X-Large Detroit style weighed over 3 pounds. They do not scrimp on the toppings. Purchased the Jet10: 6 meats and 4 veggies.... Excellent pizza. It was our first time trying Jets. It was a good experience. Delivery was fast. I forgot a soda and called and made sure it... was sent out with my pizza. They were faster then they said. The pizza had pretty generic ingredients. The Detroit deep dishwas good. It was very similar to Pizza Hut deep dish. The crust was the difference maker. It hurts my heart to give this place a bad review because the pizza is delicious, the detail is in the service. In this... globalized world, the market has to adapt to the client and in this business I have been very disappointed in terms ofdeadlines. In its business hours it appears that its service is suspended at 9 at night. I have had the misfortune of leavingwork late and arriving at the establishment 15 minutes before closing and the staff no longer wants to take my order. I amconfused and hence my disappointment in this pizzeria. They should stop. deceive and put their closing time at 8 at night andnot at 9 so that people look for more options and do not waste time with deceptive hours and with staff who do not enjoy theirwork and just want to get out of there. I have reviewed many restaurants and my views are now in the millions. I reserve the 1 star review for the most ridiculous... offenders only. I called Jets yesterday to order the same thing I always get - Large 1 topping lunch special with sausage addmushroom with the turbo crust. The employee asked for my phone number and then told me I couldn't add mushroom to the lunchspecial. I was confused as I have been doing that for years. I even clarified that I wasn't expecting the extra topping at thefor free and that I would be willing to pay for it. I was informed that was impossible. I reluctantly agreed to just sausagewondering why an employee would refuse to take more money. I proceeded to the restaurant to pick up the pizza and was presenteda very small box to which I knew wasn't what I had ordered. I was accused of being too vague when I ordered. I guess maybe Iwas, however I was unaware the onus was upon me to ensure I was to get same pizza I get every time I frequent thisestablishment. The employee immediately became visibly angry and retook my order, I ended up paying more than double what Ithought my bill would be, he then took the small pizza and aggressively threw it in the trash. I then waited in the store forthe pizza I wanted as the employee still visibly angry paced back and forth from the front to the back of the kitchen. When thepizza was ready he threw the pizza on the counter (which by the way didn't have the turbo crust), grabbed the sodas and placedthose on the counter, and walked away without saying a word still visibly angry. I know people have bad days, however ifsomething like this makes you act like that you have no business being in a customer interacting situation. I can't recommend arestaurant with employees who act like that, and I won't be back any time soon. Read more
Based on the excellent reviews, I tried the small pepperoni and cheese pizza. However the pizza wasn't as exciting as the... reviews made it appear. The only aspect to the pizza that stood out to me was the delicious and flavorful tomato sauce!Otherwise everything else is pretty standard. My 4 star review is based on the customer service interaction/quality, orderaccuracy and the pizza being ready at the requested time. The pizza itself I give it a 3 out of 5 stars. Read more
