We have been driving by for years and we finally stopped in. We were allowed to bring our dog which was great. We went with... friends and just got some appetizers and drinks. Good beers on tap and the food was good. We got nachos which were excellent,French onion soup was a little lacking in flavor but plenty of cheese and bread. The crab cake was over a creamed corn I believewhich was also excellent my only complaint is it was 1 smallish sized cake 2 would of been perfect. My wife got the grilledpesto chicken sandwich that she said was also really good. I'm glad we stopped and we will definitely be back. Read more

An incredible spot with great food. The bar rivals the deck and upstairs (not a bad seat in the house). Excellent fish and... chips. As a smaller, rural establishment, sometimes service is slow due to staffing issues but a worthy restaurant to support. Read more

Apps & soup were great. Both entrees were pretty good but may have lacked a bit of the seasoning and sear you would expect.... Drinks were delicious & we enjoyed being able to sit outside on a nice late summer evening. Great atmosphere & service. Read more

I am confused at the star rating. The hostess was so rude. The waitress never once came over and asked us if we wanted more... drinks or to check on us at all,(it was not busy time 4:30) and plenty of staff. the food was fair, we started with stuffedmushrooms it was like chewing on rubber and the smallest portion over, I got the prime rib and skinny scarce asparagus. Theprime Rib had no flavor and mostly fat. We over heard other people complaining about the rudeness of staff. I would neverrecommend this restaurant to anyone ever. And if you don?t have a reservation the staff makes sure you know it .. RUDE Read more

An obvious local favorite? dinner guests greeted one another as they walked up , expressed surprise that each would be there the... same night. Every single person that walked up knew each other, as names were called the group separated into differentareas. You can choose the atmosphere you like best. The bar is downstairs? formal dining upstairs and relaxed dining outside onthe patio with a close up view of the lake. I ate the French onion soup ?delicious!!! I also had a Greek house salad. It waslarge ?a dinner salad for sure and full of fresh field greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion.grated carrots, feta, kalamataolives, and pepperoncini. I am allergic to citrus so I subbed out the Greek dressing for balsamic. Ask for a side of bread. Itcame grilled with a side of butter and was superb. A nice addition to my meal. Read more

First timers here at the Lakehouse Tavern. It was on my list of places to try for quite some time and we happened to be in the... area. Upon our visit it was not too busy. We waited a few minutes for a table to be prepared and we went upstairs to dine.Upstairs there was only one other table seated inside and one table seated outside. Our food was fresh and had great taste butwe did wait probably an hour and total visit was close to 2 hours. We didn't mind the wait at all and its super understanding. We would love to come back again in the future and try something new. Read more

Our first time here and we will be back!! Wanted to sit on the back patio but found out we should have called for reservations,... now we know :) We got rueben with unbelievably huge onion rings, scallops wrapped in bacon (made there for sure), bowl of chiliand a side Caesar. Everything was just awesome, and we are picky. Couldn?t believe the bill was so reasonable. Great service, very attentive and the tavern was very clean. Read more
