My wife and I recently went to this establishment and we were extensively disappointed with our dinning experience. The food... was incredibly mediocre for the over all price paid for our dinner. I?ve had food at breweries that was better quality, cookedbetter, presented better and had far better ingredients. The steak and lamb was exactly as described by a previous googlereview of another couple. The meat quality and portion was poor and cooked to the texture and taste of shoe leather. The bestpart of our evening was being impatiently told by the owner that we needed to leave because we were ?sitting in the only placeshe could seat the large party outside waiting to eat?. The restaurant was empty and we weren?t even finished with our dinnersyet. Truly absurd. We were only there as long as it took to receive and eat our dinner so we weren?t at all ?lingering ?. Whenwe first arrived the restaurant was completely empty and we were told to sit wherever we would like. Probably should havethought ahead and not been a rude host. The fried chicken and the lamb burger are my favorite everyday dinners, but there are also plenty of dishes for special... occasions like the T-bone Steak Frites, the Shrimp and Pork Belly Grits, and the Surf-and-Turf. The dessert menu is to die for,and I appreciate that all of the spirits in the full bar are locally sourced, mostly from right here in Mendocino County. Read more
Stopped by after 930 and they were still open and so was the kitchen, thought it was a bar but it's more of a restaurant. The... food was really good but it was Sara who made the whole experience for me, she was friendly helpful and really helped me torelax (I thought because they were scheduled to close at 10 I had to hurry. Had the lamb taco , which was fantastic ! Also had the mussels with chorizo , they were excellent , the sauce was worth... getting extra baguette for , you won't want to miss a drop. Service was great! Would eat by here often if I lived near by . Read more
This place is the gem ???? of Hopland. Roxy the owner is awesome always friendly. The good was outstanding. Our favorite spot... eventhoug we have to drive 20 minutes from our town. We went back a couple days ago for my birthday dinner we met Sarah thebest host ever and then again the food was extraordinary. Honestly, the best restaurant experience I've ever had in the US.
