We were very mindful that it was Thanksgiving. A lot of slack was given due to the fact of a holiday and possibly short staffed.... Even with that being said service was disappointing. We waited 10 minutes before we ever saw a hostess. Once seated it was atleast another 10 minutes before we saw out waitress. She came to the table with the typical Memphis attitude, she didn't writeanything down, and you could tell she did not want to wait on our table. We finally got our drink order which was wrong, ourappetizer came with half our tables food and the dip was cold. We did not have silverware but it was brought with the rest ofthe food. The steak was over cooked as well as the burger and the Alfredo sauce was extremely watered down. We pointed out thesteak and a manager promptly brought out a new plate. Everything on that plate was good. We did not see the waitress again untiltime for the check. Total time there from start to finish was almost 3 hours. Again we understood front of house at least wasshort staffed and it was a major holiday so we did give some slack for that. Not our best experience and will try anotherlocation in the future. The food was good and the waitress was OK. I got lucky and got in while the hostess was in, but after she went on break, no one... was seated. Just before getting our food, we received plastic ware to eat the food with and had to request metal utensils. Because shortage of employees, services were slow and it probably ruined others Thanksgiving day. Would have been better toclose the food portion of the restaurant and just have the ???? bar open. The servers were from other locations, andapparently, they were short a dishwasher (silverware). Read more
Awful experience.. Only good thing was our server and the Blue Tiki Manarita? Ordered full rack of ribs had to return it because... it was ice cold.. 2nd one was worst.. Food quality is declining. Read more
We ordered online and we're told the order would be ready 25 minutes from then. When we arrived (which was a 20 minute drive for... us), they told us it was ready and then we waited another 30 minutes to receive our (cold and stale) food. By the time we gothome, we realized half of our order was missing including the drink that came with the meal, ice cream that comes with thebrownie, sauce for my chicken, a smoothie, and they gave us the wrong side. We called and asked for a refund for those items andwaited on hold with a kind manager. After another 15 minutes, we were told that we would receive a FULL refund. FOUR HOURSlater, at 10 PM, we received a call saying that we had to drive down there and return our food if we wanted a refund at all. Theman that called us (after we were already in bed) was very rude and simply told us we had to prove they ruined our order. Theywould not be giving us the promised refund for the terrible and missing food, over an hour of our time, and terrible customerservice. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS and we will never return to any Applebee's again. They have been so poorly represented by theHorn Lake restaurant (other than the original manager that we spoke to. ME AND MY HUSBAND WE LOVE APPLEBEE'S SO WE ALWAYS ORDER THE SAME THING THE ONLY REASON I GIVE A 3 BECAUSE I ORDER A ????... If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst place ever ! Placed an online order at 4:30 was supposed to be ready by 5:01. Got there... waited 10 mins and was being ignored so I found someone myself and low an behold they couldn?t find our food. They said givethem a few mins. Once it reached 6:00 (an hour I had been waiting there) I asked to speak to the manager to which he came andasked what was wrong I explained what the issue was he went to the back and grabbed our food right away like it had been readyfor a while. Mind you this was just 2 salads! Everyone was VERY rude and no one was apologetic for what happened. After I hadmade it home I went to open our food and noticed they had wrapped our food in plastic wrap instead of an actual lid, and thebread was hard as a rock. Absolutely RIDICULOUS! I?ve ate at this location several times and honestly it?s a hit or miss! Sometime when I go the service is horrible and the food... even worst. My husband and I went and he ordered a medium rare steak and the steak they brought out was raw! Not even cookednear medium he sent it back and they brung another one.. this one was cooked well done, the broccoli was super salty and it wasthe most horrible experience we?ve had here. Recently I ordered the blackened shrimp pasta and it was only okay. The shrimp weresuper tiny and there wasn?t much Alfredo sauce on it either. Like I said hit or miss with this place. Read more
We( Me and hubby) went here super late like 11:30 p.m. ( Just had left from seeing Katt Williams at the Landers Center)The... service was good even though we was told we may have to wait to be seated for like 25 minutes. ( Understandable cause they closeat 1:00a.m.) We didn't have to wait that long which was also great. The server was pleasant and served good customer service asshe should. The food was hot and fresh also a plus. The atmosphere was laid back. We most definitely RECOMMEND and we will bereturning to this location!!! Read more
