I had been to more than 5 different locations of Texas Roadhouse. This is the one upsets me the most so far. Food was good as... always. Two stars deduction was because of the rude service, which gives me a feeling that I was being treated differently whencomparing to the other two tables next to us. Everything was okay until when we started to have main dishes. When we only hadsome bites of the food on the dish and still working on it, the waitress came to us and asked us if we need any dessert. We saidno. Then the waitress asked us cash or card, and pushed the machine to the middle next to our food to let us check out. Weignored her since we just started eating, and then she came back for the same thing again. We felt we were pushed to finish thefood in a hurry. When she came back for the third time, which is 15 mins apart from the first time she asked us to pay, we stillhad 1/3 of food left on plates working on. She asked us if she can take away the plates… the whole dining time we spent wasless than 20-25 mins since we got the food. So we don’t consider it was because we sat for too long. For a chain, these guys were pretty good. They discovered we were new and the manager brought us samples of their sides. Chili... was excellent, a cut above what we expected; rich with big chunks of meat, well seasoned. Mac and cheese pretty standard, butcreamy and we liked it. Came here first time Best experience!! Stay in closed by hotel get 10% off. We didn’t get beef steak tho. We had chicken and... pork chop. My fried chicken is 8.75/10 very good Mac and cheese. Great option of 2 sides we can pick. I think salad, fries orcorns and of course Mac n cheese are the best to go for based on my preference. A great restaurant for the person who loves steaks! The food is amazing from the appetizers, salads, steaks, to the deserts and... the servers are always very friendly. I have never had a bad meal at any Texas Roadhouse and the prices are very reasonable forthe portions served, usually more than enough to take home for lunch the next day! Read more
Stopped by on my way to New York City. The Service was great (Amanda was our server). Went around 5pm est and was out in around... a hour. Ordered a 8oz NYC Strip with salad and vegetables. The steak was cooked medium (as requested) and had a regular taste ,paired well with the A1 Sauce. The side of vegetables was kinda sad in terms of selection. Nothing but love for Texas Roadhouse in Bigflats NY. First time in a long time I ordered a steak medium and it come out... perfectly. The cactus onion was on point, servers did there job and the atmosphere and environment was splendid. It's nice toget out of the house and have a good meal. Our waitress was super friendly, she was funny and very personable, I liked her. The food was excellent, I had the 23 oz... porterhouse and it was almost melt in your mouth, my wife ordered the fish and chips and also said that was great. We were firsttimers so we got the side dish samples, they were all good. For the amount of food you get, you would expect a higher pricepoint, but no. Over all it was one of the best dinning experiences I've ever had. There was was nothing they could do any betterthan they did. Read more
