Definitely worth a stop for the shakes alone. I had raspberry and it was delicious. The fish sandwich was good. The cheese curds... were not my favorite- but it was more than enough to fill me up. Good vibes and staff was very fast and friendly. The food however was only okay. The fries were overcooked and the burger... (bacon cheeseburger) tasted like it was boiled with black pepper. The shake was pretty good (very small cup). Was unable tofinish the buger due to taste. Food prices were very good. Overall experience was decent. Would definitely not be going back. Read more
Stopped in today on our way back to Appleton. Fun place. Girls are nice and friendly. Ice cream ???? cones were delicious ????.
Ordered an ice cream cone and was asked to move my car closer so it didn't melt by the time she brought it to me. I only moved 3... car stalls. Lol. Young staff. Just needs more experience. Very friendly. Read more
?Chili? cheese dog was small for the price, and it wasn?t even actual chili on it; a disappointment for sure. Onion rings... weren?t even onion rings-I asked about it, and was told they had substituted ?onion petals?-no explanation why. For the price,the portion was quite small. Charlie's is the place where one can travel back in time to the 50's, when going to the drive in burger joint meant fresh... wholesome food served by friendly car hops. Whether cruising or heading out specifically to meet friends for a fun outdoor meal,this is the place. Very unique nowadays, Charlie's has the best burgers and other offerings, with excellent ice cream and icecream shakes, malts and black cows/ floats. Great root beer by itself or with the ice cream. Tables under the spacious overhanggive one the option of stretching out with more room for dining with friends outside of the car regardless of hot sun or rain.Not open in winter, but if they were, I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one sitting there bundled up and still having a malt. This place is always booming! My family enjoys the burgs and loves the ice cream! Also they have a lot on the menu. Pretty cool... place to drive right up to or walk up to and sit down. Good food in town! Read more
