UPDATE: it apparently needs to be said that I am not a former employee and have never worked at any A&W establishment. My... information comes from me witnessing the manager behave this way as a paying customer, and from hearing with my own ears anemployee (who was being publicly fired) say these things about being forced to sell meat that was unsafe. Food poisoningbreeding ground. When the power went out for hours a few months ago the staff was forced to sell the meat that had completelythawed and refrozen to unsuspecting customers. The manager is a loud, angry person. Not to mention that the line is long as allget out for some terrible food at very high prices. You?re better off going to Wendy?s or Burger King, you?d get more value andbetter food at either one. Read more
Been wanted A&W root beer float for a long time from the actual restaurant. It was refreshing and delicious on a hot day. We... don't have one in my city. I bought the A&W mug to make my own back home. I was not impressed though with the burger andnothing spectacular about it. I didn't even finish eating after two bites. I was expecting the burger and fries to be muchbetter and not poorly taste from a well known company as A&W. This is a tourist spot for sure. 5 stars for the root beer float/mug and 1 less star for the burger and fries. Read more
Our receipt is correct. However the food we received was not. We wanted both burgers meat & cheese only. When we got home both... burgers had everything on this. Which is a disappointment. I assume because it is a to-go order the employees just do not careto get the food right. We live 20min away so aren't going to turn around to go back. But we didn't eat the burgers & it was awaste of money. Read more
We went to A&W @ 11:20am on 1.2.2022 We waited 30 mins for cold fries. The cashier had disgusting long nails that she struggled... with to count the money and open the window. After finally getting our food we were told the ice cream wasn't frozen yet andwere substituted a regular root beer, without being refunded the cash difference. They didn't even fill the cups all theway. Disappointed :( Read more
I was disappointed with the burger that I purchased on 12-1-2021. I showed my burger bun to the worker at the register and told... her it was burned. She called the worker at the grill who said he couldn't do anything about it because he couldn't change thetoaster settings. I told them if it wasn't any good I wouldn't be back. When my back was turned one was heard laughing. Afterwards the guys who apparently did the cooking went to a lady working on a computer at one of the tables. I assume they toldher what happened because they looked my way. And I assume she was a manager because whenever there wasn't a customer the guyswere standing at her table talking to her. A great addition to the town! Definitely a bit of a wait for service, but nothing out of the ordinary for a new restaurant... location. The food was hot and fresh and the few employees we interacted with were friendly and smiling. Definitely lookingforward to when they have the indoor dining open to be able to get a frosted mug of root beer. Read more
