Went with a group that recommended this place. Ordered a 22 oz steak that couldn't have been 16 ounces! Spent nearly $200 for me... my wife and daughter and I've had bigger and better flavored steaks at outback.. the service and atmosphere is nice but the foodwas WAY overpriced for what you get. We visit Hot Springs a good bit but there's several other steak places in town that willget my future business.. Read more

Restaurant and staff are excellent. Food is very good, but not great. The service and the atmosphere more than make up for the... missing touches on the food. Don't be put off by the entrance behind the hotel. Looks sketchy, but well worth theadventure. Great drinks also btw. Read more

Meh. Service was good, but food was over-priced for the quality. Steaks certainly need more attention (seasoning) and sides... could be escalated to meet the quality of a good steakhouse. Sorry, salad from a bag (iceberg lettuce) and a splattering ofdressing from a bottle does not echo quality. Spend a little more on ingredients and do a more attractive plating with yourmeals. Reminded me a little of an expensive Golden Corral. Read more

We took a last minute trip to Hot Springs this weekend to get out of the house in Texas. I am so thankful that fate would have... it that by the time we got to town, most businesses were about to close, but Back Porch Grill was still open because OH MY GOSHit was literally the most delicious food I?ve eaten at a restaurant. Every single bite was full of flavor- I was in shock!! Westarted with the shrimp and steak tips queso and it was phenomenal. Their chips were made of deep fried flour tortillas so theywere thick enough to shovel the lumps of meat, but also light and crispy when you bite into them. My guy got the cowboy steakand shrimp and it was extremely tender and full of flavor. I got the lobster ravioli with the steak and shrimp on it in a Cajuncream sauce. Man. We were both so happy to have found such a delicious restaurant! I don?t typically leave google reviews.. butsince this place blew our minds, I felt like shouting it from a rooftop! Service was outstanding as well!!!!! Read more

From the prices on the menu my expectations were set somewhat higher than a Outback Steakhouse but immediately in the entrance... of the restaurant you was met by a sofa that was peeling away and box fans to keep the lobby cool. The initial waiter was veryfriendly and enthusiastic so I overlooked the minor cosmetic things in the entrance that would usually give me red flags. Themenu was pretty expensive but I figured with these high prices and a good bit of people in the restaurant it must havingsomething there. $63 dollar steak that when served was rancid. The smell was so strong that I?m not sure how the server orcooks did not smell that this steak was not right. The whole menu was ridiculously overpriced for this quality of food as theeveryone at our table was not even remotely impressed or satisfied. I would highly suggest avoiding this place if you arelooking for a high quality steak restaurant. I?m usually very easy to please and don?t ever even make reviews but being that weeasily dropped over $350 dollars in here with ?steaks? that were priced over $60 a piece I felt obligated to for the next personthat might read over this before going. I don?t feel like management was overly concerned and guess just not charging me for myrotten steak was enough to satisfy us. Honestly the smell of this steak was horrid and they agreed as they pulled it from thetable. Read more

Super friendly and conscientious server. Broad menu selections. Got the loaded fries very delicious. 44$ ribeye with shrimp was... below par in flavor and quality of cut. I want to go back and try the tuna. The atmosphere, cleanliness and staff would be worthanother try. Read more

Ok, so steak was worth it. Appetizers were good. I didn?t care for the blue cheese dressing but other than that salad was good.... Setting was very casual, paper napkins, laid back wait staff but food was good. Prices were not cheap but could use table clothsand cloth napkins to set accurate ambiance. Read more

Wow. My chicken parmesan was delicious. Couldn?t finish it. The 4oz steak was $23 and the 6oz was $39 due to Market Price and... shortages. My kids could have eaten the 6oz but in order to get them desert, I told them to order the smaller size. As for thefood, my son loved the fries and the devoured the steak quickly. My husband woofed his down too. The salad did look like it waslettuce from a Walmart bag. Maybe change up the type of lettuce used. I did appreciate how they turned the fans on outside whenthey realized we were hot. The waitress kept our drinks refilled and finally smiled half-way through our meal when I mentionedher complacent facial expression. These times are difficult for anyone representing a product or service as all price increasesare forcing the representatives to constantly ?break the news? to consumers. My advice to the owner and wait staff is if youshine ? through the challenges, the rewards are sure to come! Keep up the good work! Read more
