According to the Jeremiah Johnson looking fella, the story goes like this...bubba was the original owners dog and the dog picked... the fish recipe. He seemed very credible in a carny sort of way????. So everyone says the fish is good, but it was much betterthan good. Actually it is in my top 3 catfish establishments. Unassuming place that serves up perfectly crispy catfish. I had the 2 piece plate which came with fries, coleslaw and hush... puppies. The breading was just right, golden brown, the fish was tender and flaky and it was absolutely delicious. The filetswere fairly large and two pieces was plenty. This place has the best catfish in town but. DO NOT buy the crab cakes. I decided to stop after work and get my wife a some for... a snack. I was SHOCKED. they were not crab cakes. They were 7 TINY little balls the size of a tater tot. And they were burnt.With tax they came to $12. Very disappointed!!! Read more

So we are from Louisiana & this food was delicious. Hot made to order and well worth every penny and minute. The fried okra was... delicious the seafood was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. A must try if your in the area. ?. Oh and ladies theowner eyes are beautiful ???? Read more
First time at Bubba?s and I thought the food was pretty good. Had their seafood sampler that comes with jumbo fried shrimps,... crawfish tails, hush puppies, cold slaw and of course their famous fried catfish. It took about 10 mins for the food to be readyand I have to say I was very happy with the order. With the jumbo shrimp and a side of fried okra it came out to be 25$, veryfair I thought. The best item was of course the catfish that was crispy and nicely flavored. The other items were good andperfectly fried but felt slightly frozen especially the jumbo shrimp. Overall pretty satisfied with the food. The staff werenice and courteous. I would have given them a 5/5 if they had fried oysters. Read more
Went to Bubba's on 7/01/2022. Got the 4-piece Catfish with extra hush puppies and a large fried shrimp dinner. It was all so ... delicious as usual. Been going to Bubba's Catfish for 8-years now. Started when they only had the location on Central Ave. Ihave never had a bad experience. Would recommend them to anyone wanting serious seafood and more. The price is very fair forgreat seafood.
