We gave this place a try since it was on food network. The place is nice they have a lot of merchandise. I even purchase a... sticker saying real man love fat bottom girls. And purchased a t-shirt. They have tons of cupcake flavors and we grabbed thebest sellers that the staff recommended . Quickly open the box dive Right In take the first bite and it was so dry and brittle. I decided to take a bite of another one thinking we had a bad batch. It ended with the same result. There was much hype forvisiting here today. However, the finished product we received is the same product that was on display when we walked into theshop. Unfortunately our cupcakes were desperately on the dry side, and they contain no filling which we thought they would. Weleft a bit disappointed However the atmosphere, during our visit was fun, and the employees working for very friendly. We come here every time we go to Hot Springs! The shop is so colorful and fun and really has a unique feel. There are lots and... lots of options for cupcakes, and the ice cream is great as well. There are always people coming in and out of here, andthere's a reason for it! Put this spot on your list for dessert after you grab lunch or dinner at one of the many greatrestaurants nearby. The service was lackluster. The employees weren?t rude, but they weren?t friendly either. They just tolerated customers. There... were dozens of cupcake flavors. The cupcakes were alright, nothing to write home about. They were dry and a little tough. Iordered four different flavors and they were all like this. The presentation wasn?t great. The cupcakes are overwhelmed by largeparchment wrappers which obviously made them hard to decorate. There was frosting and/or drizzle on the papers which made tryingto eat them a messy experience. I have found that any bakery that touts they were on Cupcakes Wars has to lure patrons in withthat because the cupcakes themselves are very mediocre. Read more

Very cute cupcake shop. A ton of flavor choices. The lemon lavender was a lovely flavor. The double chocolate was a little too... sweet for me. I also ordered a Boston creme but I think I got banana creme. It was still good though. Haven't tried the lemoncoconut but I bet it will be good! Read more

Gave this place a try since it was on food network and everyone I have seen walking around hot springs had a box of cupcakes so... I wanted see what the hype was about . The place is nice they have cute merchandise I even bought a shirt that says real menlove fat bottomed girls . Everything was so tempting they have tons of cupcake flavors and I grabbed the best sellers that thestaff recommended . I don?t remember her name but She was so good at selling for sure I really believed that all the cupcakeswere amazing and spent around 20 bucks for half a dozen even though I wanted one . As I got to the car I had to have one , tooka bite it was so dry had drink water , I decided to take a bite of another one thinking I had a bad batch and it was still dryand stale like it?s been there for days all of them were it lacked flavor as well I couldn?t eat them at all and the icing wasok . I also asked for pistachio and it tasted like vanilla or birthday day cake I believe they gave me the wrong one. HonestlyI?ve had better elsewhere . I was on vacation and not from the area so I was disappointed but also I?m not the type to returnanything and learned my lesson . While taking a mini-getaway with family members in Hot Springs, Arkansas recently, we ventured downtown to explore the famous... Bathhouse Row. My sibling has been saying for quite sometime she can't find a really good cupcake. As if by magic as we arewalking up Central Avenue in Hot Springs we spot FAT Bottomed Girl's Cupcake Shoppe. We decided to go in and see what they hadto offer. WOW! Cupcakes varied from Creme Brule, Churro, Lemon Lavender to Southern Turtle Pecan Cupcakes just to name a few. Weended up ordering (4) cupcakes ????. Red Velvet Cheesecake, Salted Caramel & (2) Ooey Gooey Buttercake Cupcakes. I tried theRed Velvet Cheesecake and it was simply WONDERFUL. This cupcake did not come out of a box. My sister had the Ooey GooeyButtercake and couldn't stop talking about how FANTASTIC it was.
