I went in around 2:00 right after the lunch rush. There were a lot of dirty tables and about a handful of customers. I received... my lunch 10 minutes after I ordered. The tomato basil soup was great. However, the pimento cheese sandwich was the worse I?veever had at Newk?s. The sandwich was cold, unmelted and goopy. The bread was barely toasted. I did not finish it. I usually willorder the cup of soup and half sandwich. I would have talked with someone if only I had time. Very disappointing, I will notorder that again in HS. Our employer treated us to lunch today. We got the box lunches with assorted sandwiches. The meal size was great! Awesome... looking sandwiches. Good portions. But the chicken bacon club was dry as hell! Like, I'm not a huge condiment person, but I hadto use all condiment sent to be able to eat the chicken. The spicy honey mustard was AWESOME, though. We also had a Newks Club, but it was so good it didn?t make it in the picture. I?ve been here a few times, and every time I?m... surprised at how good it is. This is becoming my favorite restaurant. Good basic fare. We were looking for a lighter meal for an evening and Newk's 1/2 sandwich and 1/2 soup/salad seemed the... perfect option. I had the garden salad with a club sandwich and found both to be satisfying. The salad was made with leafygreen lettuce and the sandwich had ample meat and condiments. My wife had the loaded potato soup and reported that it was goodand filling. We had carry out which always detracts a bit from the offering, but it was a good meal. The price was prettyaverage. Great pizzas. Salads are really good too but it came with too much dressing. I will ask for it on the side next time. The... sandwich was good but it was mostly bread. The meat and toppings are slim. Overall I enjoy coming here especially when downtownis packed. Read more
Very casual dining, a bit noisy when full. A little wait for food to be brought to table, beverages from dispenser area. But... staff pleasant and food variety and flavor excellent. Read more
