Our Club had their Christmas Party at Desoto Club on Monday night. First, Logan was very easy to work with and handled the... details beautifully. The staff was so friendly and professional. The retaurant was decorated for Christmas, including eachtable. The food was outstanding! Of the 44+ people in attendance, I didn't hear even one complaint about the food or service. Sunday BRUNCH BUFFETT Review. Wow. Now that hit ???? the spot ????. The sliced roast beef on the buffett was divine and my... favorite. They even had mahi mahi which had a very good flavor. The all you can eat buffett is $22 a person but includes yournon alcoholic drinks. Mimosas are $3 each and my wife had one. The service was fast as they took your empty plates andrefilled your drinks as quickly as they could. Read more
Good food . You can't go wrong with the pot roast!! The corn, greens, and avocado salad had all the right stuff but the salad... dressing lacked pizzaz. The architecture is a bit of 1960's meets the 1970's alla Frank Lloyd Wright. Great place to eat if youare in Hot Springs Village. Read more
Newly reopened under new management. I?ve been very pleased with both the service and the food. The fish and chips were... especially good. Special kudos to our server Francesca, who remembered my order after only being there twice! It?s great to havethe Desoto Club open again! Read more
Not impressed. The pot roast and soup were just ok. The salad bar wasn?t kept up. The spring mix, the blue cheese and ranch... dressing were nearly gone. Some of the veggies look like they were out for some time. The baked potato under cooked. The foodwas bland. I doubt we?ll be back. Read more
We have tried this place 3 times now and it just isn't that great. The first time we had lunch and it was meh. We thought maybe... try it for dinner since everyone said it was fabulous, well the steak came out raw, my chicken and gravy lacked flavor. We sawthat they had a brunch on Sunday and decided maybe breakfast would be better, not so much. Overall, the staff is extremelyfriendly and helpful, the food is not that great. Read more
Wife and I were treated to dinner here. All I can say is ignore the older reviews, the new management is on fire. Spencer was a... fantastic server. He recommended the pot roast and the pork shank (our hosts had this, both meals were fantastic) My wife hadthe penne pasta with the pink vodka sauce (I think I said that right) It was very good with added chicken. I had the fishbasket. I'm not big on Atlantic cod, but this was great and the coleslaw was exceptionally good. Dessert was not lacking either.3 of us had the bourbon pecan pie. It came with peach ice cream that paired very well with it. (A masterpiece) Our other dessertwas the crème brûlée that was very good as well. I am told the drinks are very good (guys had drafts) My wife really likedthe chocolate martini. Next time I'm in the area this place is a must.
