After 9 long months our Outback Steakhouse(Houma location) reopened and it was so amazing to walk in and be greeted with... welcoming smiles from the staff at the door. The service was impeccable and the food was absolutely delicious. As regulars, ittruly felt like coming home after a long journey. Went for the first time since they reopened from Hurricane Ida. The restaurant has been completely renovated and looks super... clean and nice! The managers (Kacey, Josh, and Devin) and server (Jez) were very attentive and made sure we had everything weneeded before we could even think to ask. Had such a great experience at the Outback Steak house in Houma La! You simply must try the bread with a side of chocolate... sauce. So good!!! Stopped by for lunch with my family. The restaurant was clean and bright, the wait staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu... was pared down from what I used to, but options were still well rounded. The prices have significantly increased, but that isexpected in today's market. The biggest issue I had, and why I reduced by a star, is that the prices went up for their dishes,so you expect the same quantity and quality, but it wasn't there. The steaks were cooked well but were not of the quality weexpected; they were full of gristle and tough, not enough marbling. The side dishes were not as plentiful as in thepast. Overall, a good place for a nice lunch or dinner, but certainly not a bargain. Read more
