Placed an order for the mixed grilled platter, the website shows that the platters are $16.99, showed up to pick up the food and... was charged $22.99. When I asked about the price difference the man assisting me pointed at board on the wall that had tape withnew pricing over it. Please update your pricing, you're charging a premium price for mediocre food. Read more

Ordered a falafel combo and shawarma combo on the way home from the airport. Everything was okay but the rice had no flavor.
Been here a few times for lunch now. They have pretty big Greek sandwiches here. So far I've tried the chicken kabob sandwich... and the their Gyro sandwich. In all honesty don't know why they call their Gyro a sandwich, it's a Gyro. But if any down I wouldsay. Their sandwiches can get a lil dry so make sure you get a few more white sauce cups to go. They're actually pretty good fordipping your fries into too. Plus make sure you get plenty of napkins before you leave, cause your gonna need them. You getmessy! Read more
The cook is talking right into the food, with no mask. I ordered a beef shawarma platter, taste 2/5 and the quality 2/5. The... counter gal (attitude and service) taking the order was the only ?thing? out of the place that was worth anything. Food is poorand the chef had zero hygiene training. Beef ? so dry and tough. I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty cuisine and the exemplary customerservice. I highly recommend Alwadi if you are catching a flight at IAH and need a quick bite.
