Cheap, fast, and good food. Perfect for dates. This is a wonderful restaurant with 5 Star service and staff from the moment you... walk in to when you leave. The sushi chef is world class and fantastic with his presentation and supreme assortment of sushiroll, the poseidon roll is absolutely decadent. Asahi has hands down the best yakisoba in all of Houston and truly gives agenuine and authentic flavor from Japan to you. Thank you everyone. Read more
If I could give more stars I would. It was our first time here walking in on a whim and the service was amazing, our server... didn’t skip a beat and was super inviting. My husband couldn’t get enough of the mushroom soup and the Spicy chicken andrice bowl. We sat at the bar and talked to the sushi master, it was super fresh and tasty. We had the Nemo Roll, Tennessee Roll,and The Firecracker Roll. For dessert we got the mango mochi and it was so good. This place is 100% on the favorites list andwe’ll be spreading the word. The place is not that big, but you’ll get seated fast. It is also SUPER packed at lunchtime so try to get there fast. I am not... really a sushi person but I came here and the sushi was REALLY GOOD! I ordered the Shumai was a appetizer. It’s like adumpling with shrimp inside. That was really good. I also ordered The Bomb and The Spider Dragon as my sushi. Those were reallytasty too! Excellent sushi spot. If your ever in the area for lunch stop on by they have one of the best lunch specials I've ever tasted.... It's not crazy expensive it's a comfortable place to relax and eat. I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to eatingdifferent kinds of food so I did ask some questions about how to eat certain things but the server was extremely patient andhelpful. He explained to me what I had ordered and the recommended way to enjoy the food. All in all great lunch place,excellent date night stop, a must try if your in the area. Read more
This is a hidden gem! It's a pretty small restaurant near the NRG arena. Their menu is pretty good. I tried their traditional... rolls and I really loved them. The service is good. Recommend this place. Read more
Great sushi experience. First time here, the service was extremely fast and the sushi was made right in front of me as I sat... right at the bar watch them make the sushi and then ate it. Prior to the COVID pandemic, my father and I had dinner here several times. The last time, he took advantage of the deal of... purchasing a gift card worth $120 for $100 as we planned to continue visiting this restaurant regularly. My father was normallynot fond of gift cards and he clarified that there was no expiration policy before purchasing the gift card. Unfortunately thepandemic came and my father passed away before we could return to the restaurant. This past Saturday (November 13), I visitedthe restaurant intending on using the gift card and reflect on memories of having dinner there with my father. The waitress (whowas very nice) informed me that they “have got a new card reader” and that I could no longer use the gift card. I explainedthe situation and mentioned how we were told that the card never expires. The waitress said that she would need to speak to themanager. To add insult to injury, the manager never came to speak to me; this poor waitress had to go back and forth between us.A drawn out 45 minutes later, my attempt to use the gift card was still declined and no resolution was offered. I asked if Icould be given a new card that could be read on the new reader and that was refused because I didn’t have “a receipt toprove the balance.” I repeated that this gift card was purchased pre-COVID and that we were assured that there was noexpiration policy. I would not have made such a big deal of the card was for $25 or so, but a waste of $100 is unforgivable.Please be very careful about purchasing any gift cards here. Read more
