Our baseball team came here because it was close to the fields. We ordered and didn?t receive a number so the lady at the front... had to try to remember who ordered what and get their food to them. After trying to help her get the food out that was backed upshe got a tad bit rude with some of our group for waiting at the front for their order, again just trying to help her out. Oneof the young children with us had a LIVE bug in her salad, as the mother took the salad up there she was told ?I looked allthrough it and didn?t find anything??. Immediately after that and after taking two bites of my wrap I ordered there was acockroach IN my wrap! I took it up there and the women was embarrassed which like yea that?s nasty?how is a roach INSIDE a wrapyour kitchen had to put together?nope. Amazing food. One of the only restaurants that is serving a high quality half pound cheeseburger with a full portion of fries... for $10. The service is always tip top, I got lucky and dined in while the owner was there and he is just the kindest & mostcaring person! 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Read more
We were looking for a close by place while in Houston for volleyball and Backyard Cafe & Grill came up. So glad we came here. I... ordered Philly Cheesesteak sandwich and it was so good and huge. I had to cut it in half. My daughter ordered the rice & grilledsalmon and it was a good size piece for the money. She said it was one of the best salmon plates she's had!! I asked for no jalapeños twice when ordering my to go order. When I called back the waitress that took my order argued with me... basically calling me a liar. I know for a fact that I told her no jalapeños. I can't eat jalapeños so I always ask for themto be left for the dish. Bad business practices lose customers!!! Read more
My daughter was looking for a place to eat lunch near Beltway 8 and Clay Road and we found this little Cafe. We had their... Saturday lunch/breakfast special of eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. The food was very delicious, well cooked, and with goodsized portions. The best thing about this place has to be the service. Our waitress was outstanding. She gave us a 5 star levelof treatment. Very fast service with an extremely reasonably priced menu ($4.25 soup, most entrees <$10). I found the soup to be not much... better than canned soup, but *really* appreciate that the soup and fries were not too salty, and it was excellent for a sorethroat.
