Matt was welcoming from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. He knew all of the menu and gave us great... recommendations! My husband got the chili burger and I got the bacon cheeseburger. The taste was amazing and the portions werehuge. The real Star of the show was the Apricot Mustard wings and the carrotcake. Holy moly some of the best things I've tasted! I was in town visiting with my daughter and we decided to try this place out. There is a breakfast side and a lunch side. We... decided to try out there breakfast side; on this side you can sit inside the cozy spot or outside in the patio area. I had abasic breakfast, grits, eggs, and bacon. Unfortunately, we didn't like our grits too much, it was a bit too gritty for ourliking. We prefer our grits to be more smooth and creamy. My over hard eggs and bacon was done just right! The pancake was quitebig so my daughter and I order one and it was just enough for us to split in half and it was good. Of course, I had to have mymorning caffeine. My first cup was just okay meaning for me, it was just not hot enough. However, I requested another cup of"hot freshly brewed coffee" and the waiter was on top of it! My daughter had their freshly squeezed orange juice and she saidit was just okay. Overall, we liked the food and had fantastic service, our waiter John and the other waiter were nice and veryattentive. I would definitely go back to try other items for breakfast or the lunch side. Great down home comfort meals at very reasonable prices. Definitely love the sausage & chicken gumbo on Fridays! A must try when... in Houston. Can't wait to get back there again, want to try that Meatloaf plate. It looks like a meal for two. Great work onfeeding folks. Read more

This place looks so cool on the inside!! Absolutely cute with pups all over the decoration. The staff was super friendly as well... and they even gave us some recommendations. We had the guac and chips to start and it was fresh! The only thing was that thechips were really salty, but we just wiped it off and ate them. We got a cheeseburger with bacon and a tuna sandwich. Bothwere really fresh and so tasty! The burger patty was hot and juicy and the taste was really great. The lettuce, tomatoes, andpurple onion tied everything together on the burger. Definitely try it!! The tuna sandwich was also really tasty and fresh. Atthe end I had their cookies and although I wish it would have been warm, it was really tasty!!
