This place has awesome pizza and the staff is mostly really friendly and helpful. The parking lot can get really full during... dinner times and weekends. Getting out of the parking lot can be extremely difficult as well. Price wise I would say they aremedium to high but you get what you pay for. Nice spot for a family pizza outing over all. Allergy warning, they use shellfish stock in their marinara sauce. The only place this is mentioned is buried in small print on... the entree section and very easy to miss when just ordering pizza. No mention of it near the pizzas, appetizers etc. I didn'tsee the warning and it caused a reaction when I ate the pizza. Shellfish is a major allergen and needs to be more prominentlyspelled out that most of your food is off limits to people allergic to shellfish. The wings are good and the pizza tastes goodbut I'd prefer not to have a side of allergic reaction. Have you ever just tried plain fish stock without the shellfish? Read more

First time here. The pizza was delicious. Almost as good as the one I had in Italy recently. Thin, cheesy and flavorful. Venue... hs plenty of parking and a nice patio where we held our alumni happy hour. I also had the Chianti and really enjoyed it. Read more

First, let me say, I think Barry's is capable of being a 4 star place but today's experience was just weird. Our server was... great, the atmosphere was just fine and the feel of the restaurant was of an old school pizza joint with plastic table clothsand creaky wooden floors: Loved it! The Barry's Special deep dish was very, very good. Nice an fluffy interior and supercrispy, charred exterior. One of the best Chicago styles I've had. I actually preferred it to Star! That's why this next partis so odd. We also ordered a small, cheese hand tossed pizza (my pizza of choice) and it was like it came from a differentrestaurant altogether. It looked like a pizza that a kid would get at a chain restaurant and the first bite ripped all thecheese off in one pull like a much cheaper pizza. The sauce was fine but not enough to salvage it. I mean, I ate three pieces soit wasn't inedible or anything, just very underwhelming compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, we had a great dining experience. Service was quick and friendly. Pizza was hot and good. I wish they had mixed all... the toppings all over the pizza instead of just putting one topping per three pieces, not a fan of that. Our crust was burnt onthe bottom as well.
