This is such a great place to eat crawfish! We love the variety of sizes and have only ever enjoyed large juicy crawfish here. ... The flavor and spice level is our kind of vibe. The frozen mango margaritas are perfection! The service has always been fastand served with a smile and great attitude. Great decor to match the great food. We are regulars during crawfish season. It's a little more "chain-ish" than I'd hoped for but we enjoyed it. I had The Rue Trio and chose Red Beans & Rice, Shrimp Gumbo... and Crawfish Etouffee. It came with garlic toast and a piece of cornbread. It was A LOT of food! Everything was flavorful, hotand delicious with the red beans & rice being the most delicious outside of the state of Louisiana I've had in a long time. Thebetter half ordered one of The 'Boys, the Bullet for the King: chicken stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeno wrapped in baconand covered in Ranch dressing. It's served with those toothpick fries. I thought they were tasty but my husband said they weretoo crunchy for his taste. Finally, we shared the Butter Cake with Rum Sauce... decadent and very sweet, would be great with anespresso or hot cup of black coffee. Service was a little slow but friendly.
